Hyatt Place Phoenix/Mesa

Highly recommend if staying in the Mesa area. I stayed here for work training nearby. I had a high-floor king room. The beds are very comfortable. I will definitely take advantage of the pool and hot tub next time I stay here again.

Good location. Not the cleanest room but they came and cleaned agin. And it was better. There was a smell in the adjoining hall that smelled like sewer? Didn’t ask what it was.

The room is spacious and well-equipped, the breakfast is rich, the service staff is good, and the location is good

Stayed here recently and overall had a solid experience. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, the location is great, and our room was spacious and very clean. A few things to note: the property is currently under construction, and the elevators were slow. The rooms themselves are pretty dated, and there was an odor in the hallway, likely from the old carpets. The gym is very small but clean, and it does have a filtered water dispenser to refill bottles, which was a nice touch. The biggest issue was our air conditioning unit not working properly. To their credit, the front desk responded fast every time — the first night they sent maintenance within minutes, cleaned the unit, and even brought us a fan to get us through the night. It started failing again the next day, and they came right back and replaced the entire unit. Not ideal, especially during a record-breaking heat wave that week, but their responsiveness made a real difference. Complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus too. I'd stay here again, but hopefully after the remodel is complete!

In the 112 degree heat, my room stayed nice and cool! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Everything was clean and the breakfasts were tasty.
