I have stayed at a few La Quinta Hotels over the years, they have always been clean and well kept. I have no idea what happened to this location. Beer Bottles and Cans in the parking area..I understand that sometimes this could happen. The room was a bit worn, the bathroom had an odor of Natural Gas, I was concerned about my health. The room and the entire facilities showed wear and tear, not clean and not as the others I have stayed at. Ok, then every half hour or so there was a dog barking like right outside of my room. Finally at 12:30 am I went to the person on duty and asked to move my room. They asked what room was the dog barking from? I had now idea but after they told me to get all of my belongings together and come to the desk to get another room, I had heard the dog again when I gathered my things, it was right across from my room. So I informed the person of the room number and they said, "Oh, yes we know who that is", not a great answer. I was wondering why it said it was non cancellable after it was booked....now I know why.

This place was an absolute disaster. I have never stayed anywhere this terrible before. The guy at the check-in counter asked for part of my payment in cash in a super sketchy way and I'm certain he just pocketed it. Everything in my room was dirty, falling apart and inoperable. My bed was full of black specks; thank God they weren't alive. My "neighbors" were partying and being loud in the hallway until at least 4am. When I got up around 5am to leave, there were empty liquor bottles lying in the hallways. Oh, and best of all, some ***** side-swiped my car in the parking lot and left no note or anything, so I had to pay hundreds of dollars to get it fixed. Given the fact that the front desk employee is embezzling customers' money, I figured it best not to get anyone at the hotel involved with that. This hotel in itself is my reason never to go to Memphis ever again.

La Quinta Hotel is a disaster zone! The sheets were stained and looked like they hadn't seen a washing machine in ages. The sink was broken, and don't even get me started on the shower. Would never recommend to anyone.

This was more of a transient hotel with the rooms being dirty, broken loud people in the hallways and adjoining rooms overall, just an awful experience. Nothing like I expect from Wyndham.

Checked in the hotel and was checking thw bed had massive blood stains from god knows what ! It was so late by the time we check in we end up flipping the bed over.

Very dirty ,ran down and smells like mold. Nothing works properly, and the bed are uncomfortable, you can feel the springs, we had to switch rooms three times. One of the Rome doors didn’t even lock.

Once in the room everything was basic but needs some updates and a deep clean. Outside was questionable and smelled. Elevator and ice machine broken. Felt like 20 dollar lady of the night hotel…. If you know what I mean.

Stayed one night the staff was so rude and the hotel is falling apart I will never stay here again. The rooms were nasty and the door was literally falling off the henges. The staff I can’t get over they were so rude and disrespectful. When I first arrived the lady didn’t even acknowledge me I asked her how she was doing she didn’t even respond. I went down for breakfast at 6:45 am the clerk wrote on my keycard breakfast was from 6-10 am. There was five other people making their plates the front desk clerk walks up to me and says breakfast doesn’t start until 7. But didn’t say anything to anybody else sitting down eating. After I checked in the staff literally chased me to the second floor as I was opening my door to get into my room and he says you’re only staying one night right? I just felt like they didn’t want me there.

Not a good experience. Had to wake up clerk to check in. One elevator out of service and clerk gave us room as far as possible from working elevator. The first room they gave us had stained and torn furniture. The second room was marginally better, but still bad. The desk was wobbly. The bed side shelf was broken off the wall. By the way, the hall smelled of ****. The only reason we didnt leave was that we had been traveling many hours with fur babies and couldn't find another place at that hour.
