This hotel is on the river. It is a lovely, quiet area. We had perfect views of the sunset. It is only a 10 minute drive to all the tourist attractions. The room is small but very nice. The add extra touches like fluffy towels and a make up mirror. They offered a "welcome" drink and had sherry for a night cap in the room. Breakfast is made to order, delicious and included.

Excellent accommodations and beautiful Inn overlooking the Mississippi River. Area was very safe. Restaurants were very good.

The River Inn proved to be a wonderful and welcome luxurious stay at this well-situated boutique hotel with an awesome view of the Mississippi River. Bedding and room amenities were top-notch and elegant, and the staff was friendly and service oriented to make our stay more enjoyable.

Had an amazing but short stay at the River Inn while in Memphis for work. My room was palatial, comfortable with a view of the mighty Mississippi. We had drinks in the lounge and a delicious dinner there as well. As I left quite early before breakfast was served, I was handed warm croissants and muffins to go. A must stay experience and can’t wait to return.

Rooms are dated. Would love to see a refresh somehow. Stayed here 5-6 years ago and nothing has changed.

I travel to Memphis at leats every month for 3-4 days. I just found out about the River Inn from a friend. I will not stay anywhere else from now on anytime I am in Memphis. Its an outstanding hotel in every way!

Start your day with a cup of coffee sitting out front watching the Mississippi River in its majesty flowing buy, end your day at the Terrace and watch the sunset across that same mighty river. The rooms are inviting, comfortable and well thought out. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. The location is unique and beautiful.

Very remote it was private quiet enjoyed Enjoyed every minute of my stay the staff was very professional. The facility was very clean. The view of the Mississippi river was amazing.

The hotel and staff were simply the best. Our waitstaff Anastasia was simply outstanding and was a pleasure to have as wait staff. The bed first class, the port and chocolates was a great touch. The library on each floor had some great titles, wish i could have stayed long enough to read. The manager, I don't have her name unfortunately, she was outstanding. The food at both Tug's and Paulette's was fantastic. We travel by motorcycles the hotel parking right in front which is certainly a plus. We will be back cause we missed some places.
