Hotels Near The Fourth Hill - Geraghty’s Tunnel in Melbourne

This hotel located in Ringwood and around 30 minutes drive to Yarra valley or Dandenong area. The hotel located above major shopping centre so it’s convenience, location also next to train station. Room are spacious and bed are comfortable. Parking is available for $10 per night. The only downside is they do not provide room cleaning on Sunday so If you stay 2 night like us, from Saturday to Monday, you won’t get the room serviced as they don’t have housekeeper on Sunday. Very strange rule and it was not inform when we made the booking

The room is fully equipped with electric stove and microwave for simple cooking. There is also a laundry room for guests to wash and dry clothes. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is poor and you can hear the residents in the neighboring rooms talking. Fortunately, the residents were considerate of each other and did not cause any noise.

I had an amazing experience staying at the Mercure Doncaster! Firstly, the room was beautiful, clean, and fit for my short-stay business purposes. What I was most impressed by however was the customer service! My colleague and I needed to find a last minute venue for a business meeting with international clients, and the staff at Mercure very kindly accommodated us with one of their available meeting rooms free of charge. The room was spacious, well-organised, modern and the technology was extremely easy to use! The staff support and amenities allowed for a seamless experience which we were very grateful for. A special thank you to Isabella, the Reception Manager who saved the day (even offering to extend my checkout time to suit the time of our meeting).

This is a well maintained , modern and clean place to stay , with great staff, who were friendly and helpful . Our suite was well equipped , quiet , clean and comfortable . A nice kitchen , 2 TV’s and 2 bathrooms . Comfortable lounge area , a roomy balcony with great views . (Was cold so we did not spend much time out there !) The pool and spa look great - did not use them , was cold and we were busy . Car parking is secure and it was easy to get to our room via the lift . Well placed , close to Box Hill facilities . We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was . We will be back !

The apartment is located in BoxHill. The room layout is good and the space is enough. It is suitable for children. You can watch YouTube on TV. The balcony is big enough and the scenery is beautiful. The front desk service is good. You can get anything you need from the front desk. The surrounding area is very convenient. It is very suitable for Chinese families, especially those with the elderly. There are many Chinese food options. There are coles and woolworths in the mall next door, as well as a large chemist. It is very suitable for buying souvenirs. It is also very fast to bring back to the apartment if you buy a lot. The mall can lead to the train station. It is very close. Although it is a little far from the city center, it is acceptable to take the train. It is mainly for the elderly. The surrounding area is convenient. The only thing is that the walkway does have a garbage smell, which deducts a little point, but it disappears when you enter the room. It is ok. I have a good impression of Melbourne.

Very nice location, I felt like it was very good pricing. They do make up the room every other day, so just need to be prepared for that. Pretty good amenities. The lack of an established pick up/drop off point will be a little awkward. But otherwise I like the place.

This place is a pit,When we arrived they gave us the wrong room,so after sorting out that mistake my wife and i finally checked in,and when i walked through the door i said to my wife ”what the f@#k have we just walked in to ,the place was dirty and smelly had a very musty smell,the carpets were dirty,shower dirty,toilet was dirty the lounge had stains all over it,the coffee table had looked like it was picked up of the side of the road from a rubbish pile avoid at all cost its dirty the pictures don't match the property in saying this i will give credit where it's due it was a quiet location and convenient and the staff are good but thats it,it's ashame as this place has good business potentinal with some elbow grease,new carpets and fresh paint but obviously they dont care so better to avoid at all cost

The hotel is hygienic and convenient and well-equipped, but it is only cleaned once a week due to the epidemic situation. You can borrow a vacuum cleaner to clean it yourself. The location is near boxhill, but it takes more than 20 minutes to walk; there is a station near the door, you can take the tram to the city center; there is a parking lot, $15 a day.

Our stay was OK in as much as the bed and bathroom were acceptable for the price. - when the price is $125 or so. The trick is while they advertise $125 a night, Friday and Saturday night the prices goes off the scale. So read your proposal, even if you're in a rush. There are lot better rooms around at around $200 or more. We stayed 4 nights and extended another - a Saturday. (Family matters nearby). The gentleman said $120 for the extra night but when I got my statement it was $189! It was then I realised I was charged that for Friday too. Re-educated in touch and go and not bothering with the receipt. Sure these prices are not exorbitant in this day an age - for a reasonable establishment. While in the room the basics were reasonable, the room had a toaster and microwave but no bread plates or cutlery, only small bowls. Asked at reception and was give some disposable cutlery and pasta bowls . Great for toast! Apparently people keep stealing them or breaking them. So charge them and have something reasonable for reasonable people! The door didn't latch either without a heft with your shoulder and then caught only by millimetres. The chain was on and the chairs in place, don't worry. The room was only serviced once during our stay after we asked. The garbage truck came at 4.00Am or so and emptied multiple skips just nearby (on the premises) with all the beeping and backing, hydraulic whining, and diesel roaring you'd probably accept at $120 odd dollars a night, but really? My partner was ready to walk in the first five minutes with her usual abuse of my miserliness. As you might have guessed, the pricing issue is what really gets up nose. The rest you probably expect and accept for a cheaper deal. But next time we're near Lilydale we may well pay $189 but we'll be looking for $189 value.

Quality accommodation in a great location. Great value. Our studio apartment was comfortable, spacious and very well-equipped - including a kettle, toaster, microwave and plenty of cutlery, plates, cups etc. There was even a bath (with shower over) - that's a plus in my opinion. Perfect for an overnight stay, but I'd find it comfortable for a longer stay. With a major shopping centre and a plethora of dining options within easy walking distance, the location is ideal.
