Hotels Near Greenwood Reserve in Melbourne

Exceeded my expectations. Best hotel in Melbourne. Had not stayed there before, but so glad i did. So close to the city, but just far enough removed for it to be quiet and calm. Typically i would stay either on southbank or in the CBD proper but will definitely go back to the PH next time

I travel as family of 5 people with kids. Surprisingly clean big room with 2 bed room. Comfy beds. Large weardrobe. Spacious living room, and perfect kitchen and balcony. Downstairs have mini market, At the back is China Town area.. Basically easy for foodies and quiet area. But, WiFi is bad 😓, cannot work online. And the lift is on maintenance for couple of months, so we need to queue up. Overall is great.. Will surely comeback 🙏😁

Stayed one night in a one bedroom apartment and whilst it was very close to the venue we attended I would not recommend this hotel. This is due to the noise in the apartment with noisy air-conditioning and on the street outside. There were windows but no balcony. All of the windows looked down on another balcony so curtains and blind remained closed Then the bathroom was both tired and not maintained. The shower itself was quite filthy with mould on both the base and also tiles. We paid $239 for the night and to be frank expected much better for that price.

Space is the first hostel of my trip and it’s set the bar pretty high! Staff are lovely, everywhere was always super clean, beds are comfy, towels are provided and you can even grab a fresh one every day if you wish. Location is great, would recommend the Queen Victoria Market for something to do and “pizza pizza pizza” was lush. There’s nothing “on” as such at the hostel but this didn’t bother us. The only thing that would be good is some extra fridges as they were packed full every day and it was hard to put your own food in anywhere. Would definitely come back.

A brand new hotel is always good to experience - fresh rooms and public areas. Great staff throughout. Excellent coffee in lobby. Great location with awesome bars and restaurants close by. My only negative is “city view” rooms have a city view when standing up - but when sitting down or in bed the glass has privacy screen as lots of other buildings around.

The location is convenient, and the room has a direct view of Chinatown. The room is clean and tidy, and the front desk staff is also very polite. However, the shower water pressure is unstable and the hot and cold water control is a bit abnormal.

The hotel was welcoming and beautifully presented. It was so quiet and the beds are cozy. The reception service at the front desk is very good. Friendly staff..

This classic hotel is everything you could wish for and expect. The staff are fabulous, always helpful and relatable. The room we had was incredible - an entry foyer, separate bathroom, huge bedroom and walk-in closet with mini-bar; more a suite than simply a room. The furniture and decor in our suite and throughout the hotel is appropriately of the period, without being precious or stuffy. We had a share platter in the cricketers bar which was very good in quality and value and our breakfast this morning was superb and superbly presented by a great staff - quietly efficient. We would advise you to take the time to just wander around and look at all the artworks and perhaps we might see you next time we stay; we'll certainly be coming back.

The staff members were great! They were attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome—the highlight of our stay. The location in the heart of the theatre district is also terrific. The elite lounge has kind of an odd setup, but both breakfast options and evening appetizers and drinks were plentiful and tasty. Water pressure in the shower was a trickle, and our 2 double beds were comically close together—maybe 15cm between them. Overall, though, it was a quality Marriott experience.

Stayed for 2 nights. The location was excellent, Bourke Street was 20metres away and you could get on any tram for free within the city, was also 5min walk to Parliament station or 20 min walk to Southern Cross station (where the sky bus from the airport drops you off). The staff were friendly at check in, although, not much information was provided about the package I booked, if I hadn't seen online before booking that I also get a $20 F&B credit I wouldn't have even used it (it wasn't written on my confirmation either). I tried to ask reception but I think because I had other questions (like breakfast times and costs) she just said everything I need to know is in the welcome letter, (information about my credit was not in the welcome letter). I was able to use the credit for the pre-booked buffet breakfast with reception for $22 ($32 if not booked the night before), buffet was only available certain days, otherwise it was in room dining only. When I had the buffet the team was friendly and very efficient, what I liked the most was the covid safe practice that they were doing, all staff were wearing disposable masks (so not the material masks that might not have been washed for days), they wore them properly and not half on their face with their noses showing. There were no shared utensils, all items were in/on little jar, bowls or plates. Even the hot food was served to us by the chef so not touching the tongs that other guests touched. I requested for a late check out and they were kind enough to offer an additional hour at no extra cost. Room was pleasant and sufficient for my trip. Would stay again next time I'm in Melbourne.
