This is a really good quality hotel in a nice part of Melbourne. We are Accor Plus members but this night was booked using Emirates points. Accor still gave us a a top floor room with a stunning view and the usual free drink vouchers, which I didn't expect since I didn't book with them. The room was clean with the aforementioned good view and had every thing you need for a short stay. Improvements would be a coffee machine instead of simply a kettle, and a better Chromecast as the one we had just wouldn't work. These are minor issues though. Lifts were very slow, as only one seemed to be operating. Breakfast was efficient and tasty, although the included coffee could be improved and the extra charge coffee was too cold to be enjoyable. All in all an excellent hotel to stay at if you need to stay in the South Wharf end of Melbourne, and we will certainly stay again.

A new and charming hotel, in the district of Docklands in Melbourne. Excellent location, very calm and quiet, next to a Tram Station, free ride to several places in the city, including downtown, walking to the Docklands and the Marina. The room was comfortable and specially clean, great king bed, nice shower with good amenities. Amazing infinity pool with a great view, sauna and a equiped fitness center. The breakfast has great quality, excellent food and beverages. The highlight are the staff, very attentive and friendly, the general manager Mr. Christian, is always available and present. One of the best lounge in Marriott Hotels. The M Club has a super nice atmosphere, excellent options for food and drinks, excellent wines and a chef in the morning preparing a very good breakfast. Congratulations to Fazeel and his team, they are ALL spectacular. I recommend Andrรฉ I'll be back. Thanks to all the wonderful human being from this elegant Marriott Hotel.

We arrived in Melbourne from Sydney at 8pm on Monday 10th, with the intention of staying at an apartment we booked. We got to the apartment and it was shocking. We couldnโt stay at this particular apartment as it was not to our satisfaction and was not safe as we had 4 children with us. We looked to find alternate apartments and we came across Nesuto Hotel. The time now was 10pm. We gave them a call and asked if we could have a look at the apartment before making a decision as we wanted to make sure it was safe for our children. The manager Krisha agreed for us to have a look. We were impressed and booked 2 hotel rooms. Krisha and her staff were amazing and very caring. She saw how stressed out we were and wanted us to be happy. The next day Krisha called my room to see if I was ok as she saw how upset and stressed I was. All I could say is that this has been the best hotels we have been to. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were very clean and it was close to public transport. But best of all was that the staff were very caring and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good service, great location within CBD, close to Southern Cross and Flinders stations, within free tram zone too. The bed was comfie enough, room small, dated and needed a lick of paint and fridge really noisy. Even at 5 storeys up you can hear traffic, especially sirens. BUT, I wouldn't let that put you off, IF you simply need an affordable base to go explore etc.

Overall, very satisfied with the stay. The room I got was pretty spacious. There was CCTV on the room floor and hotel guests can only access the level that they stay. The hotel is also within walking distance/free tram ride from many tourist sights. Would have been better if they have a drinking water refill station.

Connie who was at the front desk was amazimg, very helpful and nothing was to much trouble.Very easy.and seamless check-in.. Overall, it was good. On the last night, there was a power outage in the room, and the front desk temporarily helped adjust the room. The location is near the University of Melbourne, very close. The medical department of the university is next door and is under construction, but it is very quiet at night. The park downstairs is huge and great. Itโs still a bit cold in Melbourne at night, so you still need to bring long sleeves and long pants when you come over winter vacation.
Located in Melbourne (Box Hill), Art Series - The Chen is within a 5-minute drive of Box Hill Hospital and Doncaster Shopping Centre. This hotel is 2.9 mi (4.7 km) from Deakin University and 4.9 mi (7.9 km) from Swinburne University of Technology.

Very nice location, I felt like it was very good pricing. They do make up the room every other day, so just need to be prepared for that. Pretty good amenities.
The lack of an established pick up/drop off point will be a little awkward. But otherwise I like the place.

GGuest UserThis is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.
GGuest UserWould I recommend Holiday Inn little Collins...yes I would...but there were a few negatives to our stay Location is excellent close to Sth Cross Station and the free tram network. Breakfast included is a bonus and the selection was great. Hot sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, toast, cereals, pastries and mini muffins as well as the milk, orange juice, tea and coffee (with barista made at a cost by the reception/bar located in the same area. Staff were welcoming, helpful and pleasant. On the negative side I must add that during our 4 night stay housekeeping came the first morning. After that nothing so our wet towels sat waiting for collection. When calling for clean towels I was directed to collect them from reception. The next day we encountered the same issue...after leaving the room most of the day we returned again to find housekeeping hadn't been. This time when I called reception they organized to send a crew up pretty quickly. I expect the main reason behind this was they were fully booked with Manchester united fans in for the weekends game but as a mum the occasional opportunity to actually have someone tidy and replace towels is a novelty that I take full advantage of so was disappointed in this part of our stay. Beds and linen were clean but again housekeeping let us down with the floors...carpet had definitely not been cleaned in a while ...our socks picked up various dark long hair and bark/dirt..gross. One last issue was the invoice received for our stay..all good and as expected however $50.75 more was actually taken out of my visa. Having to make another phone call to have this explained was ridiculous. It's a bond...totally understand and it's refundable after the room is checked BUT why not add a small note to the invoice explaining this and save the guest and your team time explaining the extra charge?? Overall it was a decent stay and I would recommend but the issues above need to be ironed out quickly.
GGuest UserEven I just spent one night in the hotel, my experience was really good, the service was amazing as the guy from reception is very friendly. The room was smaller than expected but clean that is the most important for me, 7 mins walking distance from the southern station, very convenient location.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Melbourne near the Spanish Quarter, Bourke Street Mall, and other shopping precincts. The staff are friendly and efficient at check-in. The rooms are good in size with modern amenities and comfortable beds. There is a kettle and small fridge. The bathroom has a bath with a shower, so if you have mobility issues, it's not for you. There is no rail to hold onto when getting in or out, which makes it dangerous, especially as it gets slippery. There is a pool and gyn which were modern and accessible. The room we had faced into the mezzanine of the hotel so you dont get any light from outside, which was strange. The room was very quiet and had a good air conditioner. Overall, we would stay here again, although the lack of being able to see outside wasn't ideal, and if you stayed for more than one night, it could be an issue.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel has the worst service of any Hyatt I have ever stayed at. The overall staff was absent-minded, and no one ever answered the front desk phone or room service. Several times we had to run downstairs to communicate with the front desk. There are no bathrobes in the hotel, which is the first time I have encountered this.
GGuest UserNot recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy.
Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections.
Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment.
None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests.
FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building.
The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful.
In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross.
I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind.
The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.
CCarvWe booked this new hotel out of curiosity and trust of large brand, but quite disappointed
The hotel located at an area outside t4, next to the big parking building/bus terminal, but there are no/minimum signage/directions leading to the hotel, while only one arrow at the bus terminal pointing at the big building with the large novotel logo, making everyone thinks that we can access the hotel through the well lighted bus terminal with ease, but sadly there is no crossing facilities between the terminal and hotel, you will need to lift your luggages, jaywalking through two car lane and climbing up the lane islands if you dont want to walk back 200m for the unnoticeable correct route; in fact the only route leading to the hotel from the airport is the side walk OPPOSITE to the big arrow with poor lightings and no signage at all. As a tourist with heavy luggage, thanks for offering the chance to weight lifting. When we arrived and reflect the problem, concierge said they also received similar complains. So nothing has been done to correct the nonsense and good luck to all the up coming visitors.
The room is decent to be honest and with a clear view facing the car park building we mentioned earlier, no much to see yet no problem for us too. Bed is soft and comfortable allowing us to have some good rest. However, theres an empty black bottle in the rubbish bin i believed to be the leftover from the last guest, hope the housekeeper can have a closer look in the future.
Some facilities have great designs that i would like to greet the designer/procurement and admire their mastermind for installing those equipment and challenge the wisdom of humankind. For instance: the anti-intuitive shower switch for change to top shower or handheld shower head, it is semi cylinder disguised as part of wall mount of the top shower, which is about 1.9m - 2m from the ground, for those who cant find the switch and not tall enough will have to stick with what was preset. Second, the hot water dispenser at the breakfast bar, you can simply press the two buttons on top and nothing would happen, turns out there is an extra sensor you need to block with your thumb and use another finger to press the buttons on top, this can encourage guests to give up on the hot water if no one is around to ask.
The breakfast is the most disappointing part, frankly all quality are high standard but the choices are few and basic, simply bacons/ eggs/ veges/ salad/ hams (well the mushrooms are very impressive though), there is also a honey hive (with a rectangular frame) but mostly empty at the middle (at the time of 7am) where the side are hard to spoon out, ppl try very hard but the loose stands make it even harder to spoon out, the frame eventually collapse and guest gave up to take the hive. No staff notice/try to fix the collapsed honey hive/ change to a new one during my whole breakfast ( around half an hour) and remain the same when we left. The pancakes supposed to be eat with the honey are dry and inedible imo too.
The price for the hotel is not cheap comparing to the nearing but the standard does not meet up with the price, facilities are new and thats the only advantage on the table.
PS: the hotel offer free shuttle to the terminals too, try to mention and book for your shuttle as there are only 3-4 seats if everyone have large luggages, otherwise the concierge will be surprised you did not ask for this hidden service with no mentioning during check in and no timetable ever provided when you check with them in the morning.
GGuest UserOur stay was OK in as much as the bed and bathroom were acceptable for the price. - when the price is $125 or so. The trick is while they advertise $125 a night, Friday and Saturday night the prices goes off the scale. So read your proposal, even if you're in a rush. There are lot better rooms around at around $200 or more. We stayed 4 nights and extended another - a Saturday. (Family matters nearby). The gentleman said $120 for the extra night but when I got my statement it was $189! It was then I realised I was charged that for Friday too. Re-educated in touch and go and not bothering with the receipt. Sure these prices are not exorbitant in this day an age - for a reasonable establishment. While in the room the basics were reasonable, the room had a toaster and microwave but no bread plates or cutlery, only small bowls. Asked at reception and was give some disposable cutlery and pasta bowls . Great for toast! Apparently people keep stealing them or breaking them. So charge them and have something reasonable for reasonable people! The door didn't latch either without a heft with your shoulder and then caught only by millimetres. The chain was on and the chairs in place, don't worry. The room was only serviced once during our stay after we asked. The garbage truck came at 4.00Am or so and emptied multiple skips just nearby (on the premises) with all the beeping and backing, hydraulic whining, and diesel roaring you'd probably accept at $120 odd dollars a night, but really? My partner was ready to walk in the first five minutes with her usual abuse of my miserliness. As you might have guessed, the pricing issue is what really gets up nose. The rest you probably expect and accept for a cheaper deal. But next time we're near Lilydale we may well pay $189 but we'll be looking for $189 value.
GGuest UserI stayed at the Sheraton because it was surprisingly cheap for the location and star rating. I soon found out why. The sleep quality was not the best - I woke up with a head and neck ache one night and painful for dry eyes the next. The check out experience took the cake though. I was told that โfor security reasonsโ they can only take chip-and-pin payments with a physical card. I was also told this was โstandard for all Marriott hotelsโ. These are blatant lies: I have used tap payments at Marriott hotels on five continents, most recently at a Marriott in Australia just last year. Tap and pay hadnโt gotten less secure since 2022! Iโm so used to paying on the phone Iโd forgotten the PIN on the physical card. After some arguing I was allowed to swipe-and-sign. So secure! What offends me isnโt so much the backwardness, but the lies to dress up the backwardness as a benefit rather than just cheapness. Never again. Oh and Iโm here posting this review again because it turns out negative reviews donโt get passed through to Tripadvisor.
GGuest UserThe live situation of the accommodation is reasonable in Melbourne for such a price. The service at the front desk of the hotel is very good. The towel will be thoughtfully windy.
