Make "The Pistachio Nut" Your Fall Getaway!!!

Excellent place! Highly recommend! We came for a JMU football game. There were 6 of us and there was plenty of room. Host was very responsive--even met me at check in to go over everything and make sure all my questions were answered. Would stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at the Pistachio Nut House! Very clean and comfortable for our family, with everything we could need available, Mike was a great host and very responsive. My husband said “this is the kind of place that makes me regret giving other places 5 stars”.

The property was exactly as described. Nice furnishings, clean, good location, and very well maintained. The host was easy to work with as well. We enjoyed our stay and would book here again.

This home was beyond perfect for our family. Three bedrooms all perfect sized for teens and two with extra beds. Mike met us at the house to show us around when we arrived, from that conversation and all the extras it is obvious that he loves and cares for this house. No corner was cut, from the board games throughout the house, brochures about all the local sites, name brand cookware and appliances to the arcade basement to all the small touches like a well stocked kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. If we ever come back this way we will definitely stay again. I almost forgot to mention the pools, gym was amazing and there were so many things to do at the resort, no one was bored.

This VRBO “Stay” was absolutely wonderful! The host’s communications were timely and helpful fron start to finish of our booking. We’re already thinking about next year and hopefully coming back.

Michael went above and beyond to make sure we were welcome in his home. The house was super clean, well stocked, and the beds were super comfortable. The kids loved the Rec room and they also thought it was the best house we have stayed in as a family so far in our travels. Thank you for thinking of everything to make our stay great. Take care!!

Had a great stay! Had everything we needed for the stay. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped and the living room was comfy. Our 7 year old loved the game room! We would definitely return.

Our two granddaughters 7 & 9 had a blast! Lots to do here. They swam, rode there bikes, rode ponies, petting zoo, played on playgrounds and of course shopped. Lots to do. Mike was a great host! Fun was had by all. Arcade was a hit with them and my husband.
