Hotels Near McAllen-Miller International Airport in Mcallen

The housekeeping was very good and they were very detailed on the cleaning for the 3 nights that we stayed there. They breakfast was outstanding and at of the plates that they had for breakfast was chicharrón con salsa and that was so delicious. Also, they just finished with remodeling the hotel and the hotel looks outstanding.

I stayed at the Best Western Rose Garden for a weekend and it was a very pleaseant experience. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance for shopping centers and restaurants. I didn't have to worry about finding a parking space, we left the car at the hotel and enjoy walking and shopping... They offer a tasty tex-mex breakfast buffet which is a very good one. I guess this hotel is a best value since many people was hosted there, we had to follow a line to get into the lounge and the pool was very busy, but anyway, I would stay there again for sure.

We went for a wedding and the Christmas holiday and it was absolutely amazing. We got a beautiful view of the South Pole holiday attraction, the happy hour was on point the food was delicious breakfast was custom and complimentary and dinner was excellent and affordable. We tried a little bit of all the food they offered and not one disappointed! The service was super friendly and would greet you in the halls. We had to order a few things and they came quickly the space and the cleanliness was phenomenal. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit the Valley again. It was well worth it and just takes you to another place where you're taken care of.

Great experience overall. Housekeeping is on top of their **** everyday, they're extremely considerate and consistent. Front desk and management is amazing as well they make you feel like family.

I share my experience ... I want to think that if your system works, nothing like this happens .... When you arrive and request check in, they told me that they had no system, which as my stay was paid with points, They would make me a point refund and I would have to pay my room because they had no way to know that my room was actually paid; to what I comment I have the confirmatory that arrived me by post where the point deduction is and they say I have to Wait for the manager, who arrives in 10 minutes or calls the customer service. I decided to wait for 10 minutes and while I wait, plated with the reception girl and tells me that most likely I NOt get a room, he understands I have my family there, but she can't do anything ... reason why I start to it was worried, because my two little girls were sleeping and my husband and I had the power to eat and rest in the hotel before we went out shopping ... Just walked through the food ... Then I worried more because I started to review the costs of both nights and hotels were very expensive ... What affected my travel budget .... I return with the girl, I ask the manager (have already passed 10min) and tells me that you don't know, that he has no time to arrive, who can come at any time because you don't have to be there ... I worry even more and I begin to bother because they tell me that in 10 minutes you come and then they tell me that you don't have time ... My husband and daughters still wait in the truck ... All was fine. At the reception they attended me quickly and without any contratempo. The staff was friendly. I found the room very clean, with air conditioning enclosed at a very pleasant temperature. The room is generally given a 3. The hotel is very clean and the hotel restaurant is wide. I was glad there are offices for sent**** to eat. They are very rich foods (home season), and enough portions. A little high prices, but it is worth it. The buffet breakfast is very rich. Congratulations to the cook. The hotel was quite a bit parked and so far everything was fine. The first night I heard a lot of noise; music and people sing and crying, and began to feel a disgusting smell of cigarette smoke that made me unquiet and prevented me from sleeping pleasantly. The next day I learned that there is a bar inside the hotel, and decided to go in the night to meet. I took a great disappointment: in the bar and on all tables there are a clear invitation to smoke. And so. ¡Let people smoke! We are almost nothing to finish 2019 and still allowed to smoke in a bar, within a hotel, belonging to a very respectable chain. ¡ Incredible! ¡Still allowed to smoke! The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The bar is fully closed and cigarette smoke, it becomes a big cloud that makes my throat closed and almost can't breathe. I am an IHG member and I was on a personal trip to Mcallen and syated at this property from Jul 7-9, 2023. I did all the reservations from ther Holiday Inn/IHG portal. At the time of my booking I was charged 271.59 USD including all the charges but later on when I checked my credit card statement I wasd charged 72.83 USD and hence I called up the hotel and as per them actual charge is 272.83 USD and additional 100.00 USD charged are towards security deposit which should get refunded in a week or two. But at the end of the day they overcharged me by 1.24 USD under pretext of local/state taxes where as same charges are charged to me in my priginal booking. This means they are cheating/conning people by overcharging. property itself wasn't that great. Water tap in the wash basin was having very low water pressure like a tricle of water. 4 slice bread toaster in the breakfast area was only half functional and local person was aware about the same. Breakfast choices were also very limited. Overall hotel which over charges the clients and provied below par services

Upon checking in and going to room we discovered there no towels or soap in the room. I called the front desk and was told that they’d bring them “right away” which apparently means sometime between 20 minutes and an hour. I called the office again and was told they were too busy. I finally went to the office to get towels and told them there was no soap either. The response? “Motel 6 no longer supplies toilet items but I’ll give you some we have leftover?” Really? No soap? How is one supposed to was one’s hands after toilet use or bathing? How is one supposed to know this? TripAdvisor didn’t notify us. What’s next? Will I have to bring my own toilet paper? Are my own sheets next? Should I not expect a little soap for $75 a night? Motel 6 just lost another client.

The US-Mexico border city is a bit dangerous. Everyone should pay attention to safety. The hotel is 10 minutes drive from the airport. There is a free shuttle bus and you can help to send it to other places.

Earlier this month, my family and I had to make an emergency trip to Texas. Despite the reason we went, we actually had a really good time. My husband's favorite part was the barbecue pit, but my favorite part was the pool! It was very clean and beautiful. Speaking of clean, I should mention the rooms were very clean when we arrived. My kids loved the breakfast, even my youngest who usually has trouble eating at new places. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, which was very helpful for us considering we were grieving. Thank you all for a wonderful experience, if we're ever in Texas again, we hope we'll be staying here!
