Arrived at hotel after a long drive from Kampala, there was a water issue by the sun water supplier, the hotel sourced dirty (brown) and spilt water running from the tap to the bathtub and toilet. First Executive room had not hot water. Whilst the engineer was called, second executive room same issue but with hot dirty water ofcouse. When I removed the " antislide mat" from the bathtub in an attempt to run the dirty water in the tub, It was covered by black mould underneeth. The mat had been laid in the bathtub. I could not take another look, had to walk to a nearby guest house not so far fro the hotel where stuff provided clean, hot water. The 5 star rating is absolutely misleading.

A lovely stay here with friends. I doubt I have ever heard more birdcalls ever in a single walk. Lovely work that the Management has done with trees and shrubbery, allowing them their full expression. An eco theme for this resort would be a natural next step, with a focus on indigenous flora species. I love rooms with mountain views and I got a lovely one, Room 318. Management and customer care for the hotel is above average for Uganda. More to be done though. Food is great and shows a lot of thought. The hot water in the showers is hot hot and endless. The bath linen should be upped. Bed linen was fine. Loved this and will be happy to do this again. I must knock the hotel for not placing in the room the fine Arabica coffee that this region is known for. Who said in-room coffee must be instant?

Nice and clean accomodations. Highly recommendable hotel. service is excellent. I loved the contemporary design,my appreciation to baker ,He is extremely reliable & punctualis definitely clear that he wants the best for his clients. He provides a tremendous value for all the services he offers. Good services.

This is an outstanding place to train. I trained here Mbale Resort gym ,It has top of the line equipment, that is well maintained, a clean environment and friendly staff and supportive gym coach baker,his really good. If you are around Mbale l for a day or several months, this is the place to train. Great services received...

I've been training with Baker since I relocated to Mbale a few months ago. I have to say that baker is an exceptional trainer. His qualifications are extraordinary but it's his personal approach that makes the difference. All sessions are very carefully and individually planned. No session is ever the same - and the variation always makes the sessions interesting and challenging. His is also highly personable and engaging and never anything less than totally positive. He has a passion for fitness, he leads by example and whilst totally serious about his work - thankfully a joke is never far away. 100% recommended for the very best personal training for all residents and visitors to mbale resort hotel.
