The property is quite an unexpected find in the area. Enjoy the delights of a pool, soon to be ready gym, decent bar undecisive between reliving the 40's and honouring the today's and of course the excellent cook; truly deserving the title Chef. The mattress may be a bit hard for your liking, however, the night's sleep is guaranteed mosquito free thanks to the good mosquito nets around the bed. If you are a light sleeper and pondering the thought of not getting up too early, I would suggest you consider a room at the front side, not overlooking the garden, as the generator may be started fairly early in the morning, kind of interfering with any plans to sleep in. My earliest experience was 4:45, a bit earlier than my regular wake-up time. WiFi is pretty decent and constant, managed to have conference calls and serious downloads during my 4 nights at the place. Work has brought me here, true, however if traveling for leisure, this would be a good place to return to. Check with the hotel for any additional contacts they may have for day-trips; I have seen several tourist operators working with the hotel. And, if you dig the real tourist-free environment yet not wishing to sacrifice comfort, this would be one of your options, the hotel is located in the mere true Uganda. And, I should have started with this, the staff is absolutely the best, great people to be around, friendly, helpful and truly welcoming.
