Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort
"Everything was great, except for one instance where a coffee cup was dirty in the breakfast room and bed sheets and towels weren't changed daily."
Aparthotel la Piramide
"Avoid at all cost! Staff- especially receptionist and Polish guy- Mariusz- sooo rude!!! Room very tired, pool cold, not accepting Mariachis...I actually wanted to check out before my end day... Really? There are ants walking everywhere, shower from which you flood a toilet, no support for disabled, real disaster!!! I never leave a bad review, but honestly...? This place is a joke!"
Elba Lucía Sport & Suite Hotel
"We visited this hotel for a week at the beginning of November. The apartment we were in was clean and tidy and well stocked with towels, toiletries, cups and glasses. They don’t clean or redress the rooms every day. Wasn’t much of an issue to us other than we would have preferred clean towels every day but not a major problem. The staff noticed the birthday cards and presents in our room and whilst we were out they put a bottle of bubbles and some flutes in our room which was a lovely touch. The young man doing the entertainment during the day was lovely, funny and interested well with customers of all ages. The elder lady who was in charge of the entertainment was less so. She seemed to create drama all the time, unnecessarily, as though she enjoyed it. It was strange. We went to do the shooting and she proceeded to tell a lengthy story about how she hates doing it and showing us scars from when people have shot her in the past…..she was then flinching and being dramatic through the whole experience. She also told a table of customers that another customer had bitten her hand during karaoke one night. The table of customers had clearly been drinking and went to confront the people she blamed….security were called and she kept going over the mic and making digs….she could have caused a really big problem for no reason. She really wasn’t very professional at all. Drama queen. The rest of the staff were lovely and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, everything was with a smile. Food was lovely and always varied, drinks were hot and miss but we found ones we liked and stuck with those."
Globales Costa Tropical
"Just back from 3 days all inclusive, pool had a leak so while being repaired most of the visitors were put into other hotels which suited us as we had the run of the place. Staff were super attentive, checked us in early and let us use all facilities after we checked out. Room was clean with a nice view, would deffo go back although would avoid busy times as I do anyway. Food was ok but I understand they couldn't do a full spread just for a handful of clients, place was virtually empty."
Playitas Aparthotel - Sports Resort
"I was really looking forward to trying the HYROX session at Playitas — it’s advertised all over the resort and seemed like a highlight. Unfortunately, it turned out to be pretty underwhelming. The class had close to 60 people in it and cost €5.50, which I wouldn’t mind paying if the quality was there. But the coach (I think his name was Hugo?) didn’t seem very engaged. There wasn’t much in the way of instruction or corrections — it just felt like a loud group workout. Music was blasting so loud we could barely hear anything being said, and safety-wise, it felt a bit all over the place. I’ve done HYROX-style training before and this didn’t match the standard I’m used to. Also not sure if the instructor had any actual HYROX certification — it seemed more like a fitness influencer leading a workout than a coached session. Playitas itself is lovely — great setting, healthy food, and nice staff. Just not sure the branded training sessions are worth it unless you double-check what you’re getting. I’d recommend asking questions before signing up if you’re going for any of the extra classes."
