Nice location and good activities
Service and room are so so
They do some renovation so we have people sit in front of our door all the time. Shouldn’t sell the room that not completely done

Best resort ever with excellent service! We will be back for sure! Room was huge with direct access to the garden and a walking distance from the main restaurant and bar. The cleaning service is great and the staff kind and polite; they also give us umbrellas the night that rain! They car about every details!

Day ten of a 14 day visit. This place could be amazing. But it’s let down by attention to detail and poor service. I stay in hotels around 170-200 nights per year all around the world and see all manner of service levels. I gave up waiting for a server to take my drinks order and left on numerous occasions. There were 3 servers perched on the end of the bar numerous times. I have pics but won’t post publicly. However - There just aren’t enough servers in the main bar. And they are really uncaring and unfriendly. No focus on making the customer experience perfect. The main restaurant food is great but again service is poor. No coffee cups at breakfast. Table places not set properly and not enough servers to provide drinks. Soap dispensers left empty for days in our bathroom. Overall it’s an amazing place but lacking in good customer service.

Merveilleux séjour,super hôtel Je suis venu en famille au shandrani pour me Marier et ce fut une grande réussite,moi même,ma femme nos enfants nous repartons avec des étoiles pleins la tête. We had our wedding here last week and the day was beyond perfect! Exceeded all our expectations! Laura the wedding planner is phenomenal and nothing is too much trouble! Hair, makeup, flowers, photographer, beautiful beach set up for the ceremony & reception on the wild beach, bbq, DJ..it was all just fabulous. She was always on hand with arrangements with our 19 guests too!

Mon copain et moi avons adoré notre séjour au Shandrani. C’était notre premier voyage en amoureux, et on ne pouvait pas rêver mieux. Nous souhaitons remercier toute l’équipe du Shandrani, plus particulièrement à Preetam, qui nous a rendu ce séjour confortable et mémorable avec sa gentillesse et sa bonne humeur 😁 Nous souhaitons également remercier Bryan pour ses bons cocktails au Blue Bay Bar 😊 Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir ✨

We were there in October and the weather was as the reviews predicted. Warm enough to swim but not too hot. The sun is powerful so easy to get sunburnt without realising it. The sea was fantastic. Staff were kind, polite and helpful at all times. Everybody speaks French, English and Creole. Mainly of Indian descent. They shared my British sense of humour and it was an honour to meet them. I enjoyed our many chats! Also very honest Our room was large and comfortable, bathroom perfect. On the beaches, there were plenty of free sunbeds, free kayaks and catamaran sailing dinghies. Free boat trips. A paradise for snorkelling. The restaurant was a buffet and perfect! As in most holiday resorts, there were other, smaller speciality restaurants but as usual, we preferred the main restaurant. Also close to the airport! The negative points are very minor and listed only for possible improvements: Hotel is far from anywhere and the one shop is a bit limited. Excursions are via one person and not much info. The hotel could organise this better and have at least 1-3 excursions easy to organise with prices on display. An even smaller point: the gym is great but there are no bikes, treadmills or nordic trainers for the typical warm-up. Would I come again? Definitely yes!

Che dire...un sogno che diventa realtà...abbiamo scelto questa location per il nostro matrimonio e devo dire che ci siamo sentiti letteralmente coccolati dal primo all'ultimo giorno...tutto lo staff ma devo dire tutti i mauritiani sono delle persone fantastiche disponibili e sempre sempre sorridenti(cosa per niente scontata)...fondamentale per chi è a contatto con persone che vogliono godersi una vacanza in pieno relax e qui si può nonostante la presenza di bambini. Per noi però è doveroso ringraziare la professionalità e la dolcezza del direttore Rico della nostra wedding planner Laura e di tutti coloro i quali hanno reso INDIMENTICABILE il giorno più importante della nostra vita. Tutti ma davvero tutti si sono complimentati per la scelta fatta.. Se decidete di vivere un sogno il giorno del vostro matrimonio...qui potete farlo.. Con affetto Giuseppe e Antonella
