Je voulais vivre l'expérience de coucher dans une grotte et je n'ai pas été déçue!.. Très grande chambre avec endroit pour écouter la tv à l'entrée, une salle de bain ouverte, un lit confortable et un éclairage d'ambiance!.. Je sais que chaque chambre est différente mais dans la nôtre il n'y avait pas de miroir à part celui au dessus du lavabo qui était vraiment petit. En plus l'éclairage ne nous permettait pas de conserver une lumière faible la nuit. Etant dans une grotte, quand le rideau de la porte d'entrée est fermé pour la nuit, il fait vraiment noir!.... Tout étant ouvert et salle de bain sans porte, ça serait bien d'avoir la possibilité d'une veilleuse. Le hall de réception de l'hôtel est magnifique ainsi que la salle de déjeuner. Une grande table comme dans les B&B et ça favorise la conversation si vous le désirez!... Très belle terrasse ou il est agréable de lire et boire un verre de vin. Leur vin est d'ailleurs excellent!.. Hôtel central bien situé pour visiter la ville. Nous avons vraiment apprécié l'accueil et le service offert par le personnel de l'hôtel.

El hotel es espectacular, la habitacion familiar de 4 personas increiblemente bella, no tiene parking, les recomiendo llegar en auto al hotel y dejar las maletas para luego ir al parking que queda a 8 min en auto.

The cave room was truly romantic and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious and very detailed in the cave. With seating area at the entrace with a TV. We also had a coffee machine and fridge and wine with glasses. The bathroom rain forest shower was amazing. Matera is an amazing must see town. Would stay more than just a night maybe 2. We parked our car outside the city and had a shuttle private transfer to thw hotel which the hotel recommended. This was truly woth it. The lights in the room was romantic and the breakfast was like a big family sitting together. It's a must stay when you go to Matera. People mentioned it has a cave like smell and damp. We did not fell that at all. Staff was frendly and recommended places to see. The city looks also so lovely at night time with all the lights. The hotel.is in the heart of the city and if we came back this place would see us again.

Wir haben 2 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft mitten in Matera verbracht. Die Unterlagt sticht mit ihrer guten Lage hervor. In kurzer Gehdistanz sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Mit der Chatfunktion haben wir umgehend Antworten und Empfehlungen (zB Parkingmöglichkeit, Anreise etc.) erhalten. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, das Frühstück sehr fein und abwechslungsreich und die Mitarbeitende waren alle sehr zuvorkommend. Wir sind nach 20 Uhr angereist, man hat uns dennoch sehr herzlich empfangen und sich Zeit genommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wow!! We started our trip to Puglia here and were absolutely not disappointed From our initial greeting our treatment was absolutely 5 star and the accommodation and surroundings could not have been better. A absolute treat. And the wine was 5 star too

Ein Hotel, das man nicht vergisst. Ein architektonisches Highlight mit Stil und Ästhetik. Abgerundet werden die tollen Zimmer (wir hatten Zimmer 5) durch ein authentisches und außergewöhnliches Frühstuck in toller Qualität. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein Glas Spumante oder wahlweise Wein. Wer schon immer mal in einem Sassi übernachten wollte, ist hier richtig. Die Lage ist fantastisch und Matera lässt sich prima von dort aus erkunden. Lediglich die Privatsphäre ist eingeschränkt, so verfügte die Toilette in unserem Zimmer über keine Türe oder ähnliches. Das dazugehörige Restaurant, hatte leider Ruhetag, aber ist bestimmt besser als viele andere in diesem Ort. Wir würden definitiv wieder in diese Hotel kommen, eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Great location . We stayed in the family room / cave which was great for three of us … a short stroll to breakfast and right in the heart of Matera . The glass of wine on arrival was wonderful ( we ended up buying bottles to take with us ). The walk into the canyon / over the swing bridge and up the other side was steep but worth the view .
