This is a lovely Inn. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The area is absolutely stunning. The front of the building faces the street so, yes, there is some traffic noise, but you really should expect that when you check in.
It did not deter from our experience.
We had our evening meal there the first night and, because we were lucky enough to have sunny days, we dined outdoors. The food is very, very good.
There is a walking trail behind the inn that leads to a very nice walk along the canal that leads to Marsden where there are coffee shops, a bakery and an ice cream cone shop - among other things.
We would stay here again without hesitation.
