An understated hotel. Nothing fancy about the room. We’ll remember the view though and it will thrill us forever. But, we sat on the small balcony and took in the pink colours of Marrakesh, evening and morning. Wow!

Not sure what to make of this place . A vast complex in the middle of nowhere and apparently inaccessible without private transport . When our group stayed there we were almost the only guests which made it seem even odder . Our room was a long walk down an endless corridor from the lift , which could barely wait for passengers to exit before shutting its doors . The room itself was pleasant enough ; the bathroom OK ,pity there wasn't a shower , an adequate supply of coffee and tea ,and a kettle , a balcony , comfortable beds and quiet except on the night two small boys in a nearby room went on the rampage in the communal corridor . Food was the biggest let down . The bar snacks were rather limited , several items were not available , and the barman on the first night was very off-hand . My husband ordered a beer and was presented with a bottle . The request for a glass was met with a very grudging response . My orange juice tasted like the manufactured variety , very unlike the fresh variety , one of the delights of Morocco . Breakfast wasn't much better though I believe the omelettes were OK . Some of the staff were friendly and helpful but others were not ! Due to the small numbers of guests there was absolutely no atmosphere .

Good hotel that I recommend. Clean with comfortable bedding.
The cleaning ladies come every day.
The only downsides are the shower (limescale) and the windows not insulating enough outside noise.

I got an upgrade to a larger room, it was gigantic. Massive bed and bathroom, 2 balconies, TV, fridge, desk and 2 sofas (they were quite low though, like futons).
The staff at reception were brilliant.
As it is a boutique hotel there aren't many rooms, so breakfast was very basic.
I was unwell, the staff let me check out at 2pm for free, which was much appreciated.

The staff were very attentive. The roof terrace was lovely, as were the rooms and the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was convenient and massive with a few options. We would recommend staying at this hotel and it was nice staying in the new town away from the Medina.

below average. not enough staff to support at check in /check out, often with poor attitude, particularly towards females. Felt very uncomfortable with some of the staff. 1 lift out of order which makes check in and check out long and difficult. air con poor, electrics poor, issues resolved sometimes but they shouldn't have happened, plugs and light switched fell off in our hands. 1 key per room policy which is tricky with groups. breakfast below average, took a long time for crockery/food to be replenished. only pro is close to airport, but doesn't feel like a great general area. pool is average. wouldn't recommend. has potential to be great, but needs a big shake up in facility and attitude.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. It is convenient to travel and the surrounding facilities are complete, but when I checked in, a very strange thing happened. The hotel gave me a room on the third floor. When I reached the third floor by elevator, I found the third floor Many rooms are being renovated, and workers come and go in a messy feeling. I thought maybe only a few rooms were being remodeled and didn’t care. When I continued to go to my own room, I found that there was still a section that was using a percussion drill to hit the ground. The sound was loud and dusty, and I immediately turned back to the front desk of the hotel to ask for another room. The quiet environment, the hotel hesitated and gave me a room on the fourth floor, but when I entered the room after arriving on the fourth floor, the sound of the impact drill was still loud , There was no way to rest comfortably, so I had no choice but to contact Ctrip's customer service. In the end, the customer service communicated with the hotel and changed me to a room on the fifth floor on the other side. It was very quiet and gave me an unexpected compensation voucher , Thanks to Ctrip's customer service!
I mainly want to make complaints about writing this review. As a five-star international chain hotel, the hotel is undergoing renovations during the period of receiving guests, and the guests are arranged in rooms on the decoration floor, which is simply unbelievable!

GGuest UserAs very seasoned travelers, my family and I enjoy exploring the most amazing resorts and hotels around the world, which we look at with a very discriminating eye. For the Oberoi Marrakesh, it is truly difficult to find fault. The hotel, relatively new, is simply stunning with the impressive lobby and villas, as well as expansive gardens with 2700 olive trees. The acting General Manager Mamdouh is the perfect and consummate hotelier, ever present checking everything non-stop, to ensure the guest experience is nothing less than 5-stars. Jalal from their F&B outlet surprised us with an entire loaf of lemon cake to take back to London that was not available on two breakfasts which we sore missed after our first breakfast. El Habib is an amazing server ready to grant you at least three wishes with his magic lamp! Khalid the Duty Manager also asks non-stop how they can improve a service that is already par excellence. Our hats off to the amazing pastry chef who makes baked goods that rival the best Parisian patisserie. I saw the two staff who cleaned every machine in the fitness center using four sprays leaving neither dust nor germ —- they focus on the minutest detail. The whole team is just extremely well-trained and professional and very committed in their desire to exceed your expectations. The synchronization of their efforts, in the most natural and sincere manner, always with big smiles, translates to nothing less than less than a truly memorable experience. They know how to make you feel like Arab royalty! We will certainly be back!!! Thank you so much to all of you!!! Shukran! If you want that “palace in the middle of the oasis experience” in Marrakesh, you will not get it any better than at the Oberoi!

Amanjena Morocco 🇲🇦
I like this one better than the king’s hotel. The Aman Group has always been an indicator of international luxury hotels. It’s not the kind of gorgeous hotel that is resplendent and eye-catching when you enter it. It’s very elegant… .
I like to collect beautiful hotels when I see them. I hope that I can experience them one day. I gradually found that many of the hotels I have collected belong to this group. This is the first time I stayed at Amanjena in Morocco under their umbrella. Amanjena Ruyi Tranquility...the store is as the name suggests, as soon as you walk in, you can feel the calm and relaxed feeling. All the staff are super polite (everyone), and they walk quietly...so that the guests are very comfortable☺️
It covers an area of 20 hectares but has only 40 rooms. During the stay, it is rare to see other guests with a high degree of privacy
Since I didn’t have enough time to stay in Morocco this time, I chose the previous Royal Mansour Marrakech to stay for 2 nights, and this one in Amman for 1 night. After staying here, I regretted that I should turn around. It is only right to stay here for 2 nights.....🥲

MMötley NüFCFirst off, the location was great, a lot of choice for breakfast, nice swimming pool and big/clean room. Most of the staff were actually very helpful, just the last night left a sour taste in my mouth.
I would highly recommend this hotel, but believe some staff should know better what other parts of the hotel were doing and how to speak to guests. Technically, a solo traveller, but my friend was staying in another room. Every day we were given 1 large complementary bottle or water and 2 small bottles.
However, on the final night, my friend received, but I didn’t. This was fine and I just politely mentioned it to reception. Bearing in mind there’s not many local shops to get water from, I was glad when I was told this would be rectified.
1 tiny bottle was left in my room, so I rang reception to explain, this is where things got a bit rude and I was surprised at having to ‘fight’ for a bottle of water - especially because this isn’t a cheap hotel. I was redirected to room service, who tried to charge me and then said it’s a housekeeping issue. Then spoke to reception again and then basically called me a liar when I said that I’d had free complimentary water every day.
The lack of water didn’t really bother me, it was that I was sent around in circles and then rudely told I was wrong, even when I pointed out that I’d received water 3-days in a row. After about an hour trying, and very very thirsty, housekeeping - who were very friendly btw - dropped off 4 small bottles of water. If it were a housekeeping issue, I could’ve been told this from the start and there wouldn’t have been an issue.
All that being said, I actually really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in Marrakech itself.
EEmma MacraeWe had the most amazing time at Riad Beata. Abdul and Noura were great hosts. Abdul was helpful with information on what to avoid around Marrakech and the main square to prevent us being scammed. He also walked us to the square the first time to ensure we knew the way, which was very helpful for us. The Riad was beautiful inside. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
After day 1 we felt safe walking from the Riad to the square. The local children are helpful with directions if you get lost in the winding streets trying to find the Riad.
We asked Noura to cook for us one evening, this was our favourite meal from our time in Marrakech. She made us a beautiful starter, a vegetable tagine, and a little dessert. We ate it upstairs as the sun set. Thank you Noura for your wonderful cooking. The breakfasts are also great and we enjoyed having them each morning.
We highly recommend staying at Riad Beata. It was great value for money. If we come back to Marrakech we will be sure to stay here again. Thank you Abdul and Noura.
MMo Osmanthe hotel was amazing, I could not fault it, however Trip.com are complete and utter dishonest thieves that do everything to miss sell. We were charged for a room for 3 people, when we arrived at the hotel it was only booked for two people (despite the fact that they confirmed and charged me for 3 people).
Trip.com tried blamed me for booking the wrong room, I showed them the confirmation according to their own website and the confirmation sent to me stating 3 people. Then they said it was the hotels fault, again the hotel showed me the confirmation that they sent to the hotel, it Wass for two people.
The hotel fixed the problem the following day at no extra charge, while Trip.com proceed to deny doing anything wrong.
Long story short, they refused to refund me for the mistake, insisting it was my fault and the hotels fault. They are disgusting and are a bunch on criminals operating out of china and know they can't be touched. Scum
550jeniferpWe checked in in the morning, which we were very grateful to them for allowing us to do. Everyone was so kind and helpful even after we realized there was a problem with our reservation. They worked with us and never tried to charge us for the mistake even though they certainly could have (especially when it took a few days for our travel agent to fix it). The food was delicious, every single person was friendly and helpful. We also got massages at the spa and were so happy and relaxed. They even held our luggage for free for a few days while we went on an excursion. The rooms they gave us for the second half of our stay were even nicer than the first. They were in the process of filing the pool and we really enjoyed sitting out by it even though they were laying even more pretty tile (the hotel is very beautiful as it is, even nicer than the pictures). I will say the internet passwords kept expiring which was annoying, but they always gave us a new code without any issue except the minor inconvenience. We will definitely be back.
GGuest UserBeautiful Riad with exceptional staff. I stayed 6 nights and was grateful for the exceptional service. There are a lot of stairs -- that's everywhere in Morocco - but the the Riad experience is worth it. It's located in the Medina close to the gate - easy to find and also easy to get a taxi at the Medina entrance. Lovely, lovely experience.
Excellent hotel for the money. Stunning pool area, lovely rooms and AMAZING FOOD. Drinks weren’t the best quality but for the money the whole stay was exceptional. The SPA is stunning and great value! Very safe and the staff are more than friendly. 100 dirham tip at the start of the holiday and we were looked after with drink replacements the moment they were empty which was a lovely touch. We will be going back!
GGuest UserOn arrival we were welcomed with a metal detector outside the door. We were told 25dh tourist tax per night each. We asked where the local shop was we were told everywhere but could not see any. We were given a bottle of water each which was very nice then to be charged for it next day 15dh per bottle.hotel is very dark and run down, we went in the pool once but got out as there were loads of dead flies. Our bathroom didnt close and we got biten by bed bugs i went to reception to show them but was told they will clean room and that was that. We paid for bed and breakfast but once looking at the breakfast there really wasnt no choice only 3 types of bread , bowl of boiled eggs and dry slice of cake in end we chose to go out for breakfast. We went downstairs wanting to go explore but had to keep finding people as they kept locking the doors so we couldnt get in and out . Plus side is it is right near a bus stop, good cafe and shisha place but you need to really find them as reception unhelpful. My fault for not believing the reviews but now i know they are true loved Marrakech but would not stay here again.
