This place is an absolute delight, nestled in the little streets of Marrakesh. The gardens are beautiful and the staff couldn't be nicer or more willing to help. Charles helped us make our plans and dinner reservations, ensuring that we had the best possible experience. The meals were fresh, flavourful and lovingly crafted. My boyfriend came down with a nasty bit of food poisoning after drinking something from the nearby Souk. The staff at the Riad prepared medicine and special food for him along with a very caring touch to help him get back on his feet. Thankyou so much for doing this, it made all the difference! Should we go back to Marrakesh, we will definitely be staying here again :)

I honestly cannot recommend this riad enough. It is absolutely stunning and the highlight of our trip. We had the pool side room and it was just stunning. I spent the whole day there so peaceful. The owners are also so very lovely. They have two gorgeous Scottie dogs Lucy and Sam and so many tortoise too! The lunch was authentic, the place was immaculate and I couldn't recommend it enough. I would 100% go again in fact I'm looking to book again this year.

Excelente Riad, ubicación perfecta, un pequeño paraíso en la Medina, trato exquisito y familiar, la cocina buenísima, el desayuno muy completo y variado. Y gracias a Charles por una noche de fin de año 2023 para recordar.

Novembre 2023, la fraîcheur, la grisaille se sont installées en France. Le soleil manque. Mais si vous le recherchez, ainsi que de belles doses de chaleur et d’envies de dépaysement, le tout à 3 ou 4 heures de Paris : n’hésitez pas, évadez vous quelques jours à Marrakech. (Nous n y étions plus allés depuis 15 ans , pourtant nous voyageons bcp) Et surtout séjournez au Riad El Arsat & Spa, un ancien palace, un des + grands de la médina, magnifique, avec ses salons, ses très belles chambres, sa terrasse etc .. et au centre son grand jardin (on y prend le pdj, top) …. avec ses palmiers, sa piscine, ses tortues…. sans oublier Sam le petit chien de la maison. Le personnel est très accueillant, comme l’est tout autant Charles le boss & proprio. Avec lui, vous pourrez discuter, échanger, surtout profiter de ses connaissances... jusqu’à planifier votre séjour, choisir et booker les restos pour vos soirées par exemple. (Nous avons également dîné au Riad, très agréable, calme, à réserver). Nous avions préféré éviter les hôtels piscine de Marrakech, et on a eu raison. Parfaite localisation, ni trop loin , à 7/8 mn de la place jemma El fnaa , ni trop proche ; le riad est très calme. On s est approprié les ruelles et nos repères très rapidement. C est safe, aucune agressivité, aucune insistance de la part des vendeurs des souks. Bien au contraire. On a adoré se balader dans la médina. Séjour réussi 5/5. Encore Merci à Charles.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The owners Nicole and Charles, Mustapha and the rest of the attentive staff and the two Scottie dogs Lucy and Sam all made sure that we were comfortable. Not easy considering they still had a few minor repairs to complete from the Earthquake. This really is a peaceful oasis in the centre of a busy and lively Marrakech. As soon as you step out of the door you are in the thick of it and nearly all the sights are a walk away. The streets are narrow with a constant flow of walkers, cyclists, barrows, donkeys and carts and mopeds. Be prepared for an onslaught of the senses. However, at no time did we feel threatened or uncomfortable. People on the whole are warm and friendly. We really enjoyed visits to the photographic museum (great views from the cafe), the Secret Garden (absolutely gorgeous) and the Marjorelle garden and museums (prebook for an early visit, no later than 9.30am, if you want to avoid the crowds). For a drink we liked the vibe of Kosybar and food at the Tanjia oriental nearby was delicious. We also ate at the Riad on two evenings, the food was fabulous. Highly recommended.

We loved the Riad and its beautiful gardens. Our room was spotless and comfortable with lovely bed linen, tea making facilities and a wonderful view. The owners were immensely helpful and the staff were friendly too. There is a beautiful pool in a lovely setting.

An amazing four days at Riad El Arsat with host Charles and his amazing team. A special mention to the owners 2 dogs Lucy and Sam who always greeted us on our return to the Riad. Good, staff and attention to detail were all 5 star. Beautiful gardens and an outdoor swimming pool which is very rare within the medina. Amazing history in the building. Well done Charles and all the team and thank you for having us stay!
