Riad Camilia was amazing !!!! Quentin and Sarah provided exceptional hospitality. They were very patient with helping us get around the Medina and with restaurant/ excursion recommendations. The Riad’s chef Amina was really nice, down to earth and professional. We signed up for the cooking class and all of the food was cooked to perfection thanks to her guidance. Sadek tended to all our needs regarding food, especially when we had breakfast on the rooftop! Sharif (the security guard) always made us feel safe. Overall the whole staff is amazing, it felt we were staying in a family home. Thank you for the amazing experience and last but not least the architecture, the suites, and the Riad’s decor is just simply beautiful. We didn’t want to leave !

This is a truly exquisite Riad , don’t hesitate to stay here. We stayed in the Menara room, it was utterly beautiful. Very roomy on the first floor with a fabulous private terrace which was welcome in the heat. Our praise goes to Sara and Quentin and the whole team. They were so lovely and nothing was ever too much trouble. It truly is an amazing calm, quiet oasis in the middle of the chaos of the medina. You truly cannot hear anything from the outside. The Riad itself was stunningly beautiful with amazing architecture and Moroccan detail , every room was beautiful and the garden roof terrace was very pretty. The plunge pools were lovely too. We had great breakfasts and the most amazing lunch, with the most flavourful vegetables I’ve ever tasted followed by a really tasty tagine and strawberries and cream ! I was in awe of the Riad all of the time we were there. We stayed for 5 nights. I’m still dreaming about it. One tip is to book the airport transfer, it’s brilliant as you are taken to the door. The Riad is down a very dark passageway, it is completely safe but you would never find it alone .

A very relaxing and pleasant stay in this charming riad, very well run by very friendly and attentive managers. Exceptional service, excellent food. Very well located in the heart of the medina with Olympic calm.

We stayed at Riad Camilia with our family and friends for our wedding celebration. To do this, we privatized the premises for a long weekend. The Riad is magnificent, very large, bright, fresh, in perfect condition and decorated with great taste. The rooms, all different and very nicely furnished, amaze with their composition and their sensual, sophisticated and fanciful architecture. A real little palace straight out of an Arabian Nights tale, it's a haven of peace that you won't want to leave once you've settled in. Fireplaces, secret passageways, terraces, private patios, ornately crafted columns and fanciful bathrooms make up this incredible place. The rooms on the first floor have balconies overlooking the patio, its orange trees and the pool. They are superbly decorated with antique furniture, plants, Moroccan lamps and curtains. The terrace of the riad is breathtaking, it is a real maze where you can easily get lost. Richly wooded, it offers a multitude of places to relax, have breakfast or simply enjoy the view of the rooftops as the sun sets. But the real jewels of the riad are the owners. Responsible for managing the premises, versatile and extremely professional, Hélène and Serge made our Moroccan stay an unforgettable experience. Welcoming, warm, friendly and passionate about their profession, it is thanks to their precious help that we were able to organize a dream stay as we had imagined it. We were able to count on their support during the months of preparation which preceded our arrival: from setting up the honorary dinner on the patio, through the choice of menus, decorations, flowers, artists, sound installation, transport, restaurant reservations and even the installation of a sky of suspended lanterns, they were on all fronts, coming back to us with proposals and clear and very precise follow-up concerning the entire logistics. The Riad's cuisine is delicious, the dinner organized on the patio for 24 people was simply perfect: mastered cooking and very beautiful presentation. We returned delighted, happy and very grateful after our stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, always responding to our requests with a wonderful smile. Sarah and Quentin (the daughter and son-in-law of Hélène and Serge) took over the management of the riad a few months ago, it was also a pleasure to meet them. This young couple, dynamic and professional, will be able to guide you in your search for jewelry, old carpets, designer boutiques, bars and restaurants. If you are looking for a magical place in Marrakech, coupled with impeccable, professional and welcoming service, you have found the right address.

The level of service and attention to detail were truly beyond our expectations from every staff member we encountered throughout our stay. Communication from Sarah and Quentin prior to our arrival was always timely and thorough. Despite multiple changes and my partner falling ill during our stay, never once did they make us feel like an inconvenience. They helped to coordinate every single detail of our brief 3 days in Marrakech. They arranged for drivers to pick us up and drop us off in different cities, porters to escort us to hard to find locations, paired us with a private guide around the media and helped us to secure dinner and spa reservations. Unfortunately, my partner became quite ill at one point and they graciously handled all the cancelation and rebooking details for us. The property itself is truly luxurious, well maintained and quiet. We stayed in the Dar el Bacha suite which was nothing short of dreamy and incredibly spacious . The rooftop breakfasts were something we looked forward to each day and continue to dream about. As foodies, it's worth noting that we enjoyed the food so much at Riad Camilia, Quentin and Sarah arranged for us to meet with their chef for a private cooking lesson. Do yourselves a favour and make sure to try their lemon and olive chicken tajine. It was truly the best we had in all of Morroco. All in all, this family run establishment is truly a hidden gem with the most exquisite surroundings and welcoming of hosts. Please do not hesitate to book, it was one of the most memorable hotels we've every stayed in and we travel often.

Staff is very helpful and very candid. The place is spectacular. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower is amazing. All the Riad has great decor and design and all small details are taken care of and you can see it in every corner of the place. When we arrived they made a tour of the property which was very helpful and we just loved it. It is a place that is worth staying. But you need to understand that is very deep inside of the Medina. You need to have an internal gps to remember the way to arrive and to go out. It is very near by the Restaurant Nomad and just 1 block away from the Fondouk Restaurant and Le Farnatchi Spa. Breakfast was good but in other Riads they serve a little more. It is more like petit déjeuner rather than breakfast. The hotel was very very clean.

Stayed at Menara room of Riad Camilia for 2 nights. It was one one of our two best stays in Morocco. Everything was great - location, very very friendly staff, very very beautiful Riad and room. The dinner was absolutely the best of the best!!!

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and booked the Riad Camila after reading the reviews; I can honestly say our hosts were excellent; nothing was too much trouble, The home-cooked meal we had was superb and served on the roof terrace; we booked a guide for half a day so as not to miss the essential parts of the city. The rooms were spotless and, from a design point, spot on and very tasteful. The staff were all very attentive and with good English. We will definitely return to their Camila
