"We spent two days at this wonderful location. It has the benefit of being a relatively small lodge, so we really felt we received a personal experience, with the staff greeting us as we arrived and always ready to help us. The rooms were clean, comfortable and with a shaded veranda to sit outside and watch the wildlife. Our room had a view of the local water hole and we were treated to a variety of wildlife wandering past our room, including a brace of giraffes. Dinner was in the open air around a camp fire. Our only complaint was the meat, pre barbecued, which could be mediocre, but the other food at the buffet was generally excellent. There are plenty of tours and you can (as we did) go for walks on your own. "

"We stayed here to break our journey to Windhoek. Quite the oasis in the dry desert. Lush lawns, beautiful buildings and comfy rooms. We had a chalet overlooking the waterhole where rhino and springbok came to drink. Great birding, We didn’t go on any tours but spent a restful day exploring the grounds. Good food."

"We stayed one night here, in a standard room - which was very spacious, with verandah, huge bathroom and outside shower. Wifi only works in the lounge. We had a sunset game drive, and saw giraffes and a very moving close-up encounter with their 2 rhinos, who wait patiently by the gate of their large enclosure for their supper. It was quite emotional being sniffed and inspected at arm's length by such huge creatures, who were equally fascinated by us. It was rather lovely driving through the red dunes, as they were cloaked in a sea of waving green grasses. There is a waterhole in front of the lodge outdoor dining area, visited by giraffes emerging from the dark, while we were there. The restaurant food wasn't to my taste; added sugar in most dishes."
