Everything and really everything was just very, very nice. We will be back in June 2024 and are looking forward to the very good food and the friendly, helpful staff. As well as the delicious cakes and coffee in the bistro. The rooms are very clean and well furnished.

All in all, we were very satisfied. The apartments on the third floor are attics, so you have to be careful with your head, but you learn quickly. The swimming pool and sauna were very good and clean, we always used them and they weren't overcrowded. The breakfast buffet could have been better presented and stocked, as could the evening buffet. But as previous reviewers have said, we liked it a bit like the canteen.

Well suited as a family sports hotel! You have to know: you shouldn't expect a relaxation and wellness hotel of the latest and most modern design generation. It is a club hotel with an 80s look, but one that is regularly renovated using simple means, in a top panoramic location. Well suited for families and sports enthusiasts, e.g. hikers and skiers. Our rooms were very clean and all the staff were remarkably friendly! The food in the bistro was very tasty and plentiful. No matter which area we were in, our wishes were immediately taken care of and we slept very well on the recently renewed mattresses! We also felt comfortable in the winter gardens of the restaurant with the mountain view. Even if the design is no longer up to date, the hotel is equipped with all desirable options for families and athletes and is therefore, in our opinion, ideal for a sports and relaxation holiday in a unique mountain world!

We stayed here at the very end of October, just a week or so before the end of the season. Our unit had an incredible view of the Hochkönig mountains, it was idyllic. The location was perfect for hikes. Also the lady who leads the hikes (2-3 per week) is incredible, we highly recommended going on her hikes. As for food, the pizza in the bistro is very good. We did not do the All Inclusive so cannot speak to the quality of the food in the main restaurant other than to say it is served buffet style and reminded us of a school cafeteria so we passed on that. Be warned though, if you stay in the low season like we did, there are very few dining options open in Hinterthal. That said, the Alm Bar restaurant right down from the resort was open and it is excellent. The sauna area at the resort is very nice. If you don’t bring a robe with you you can rent one for a euro per day from the front desk. It is a nude area, as a heads up. Overall, the area is absolutely stunning and we would stay at the resort again.

All the hotel staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is varied, fresh and delicious and there is something for everyone. The rooms are very clean and attractive. The swimming pool and sauna are very nice. The leisure activities are varied and are even better with the Hochkönig card as all lifts and buses can be used free of charge. The whole area is very suitable for hiking and relaxing. We would love to come back.

We had a nice big studio, the mountain view was unfortunately blocked by a tree. Very quiet at night, very nice crew, big praise for the huge photovoltaic system on the roof with 170 kWp. Food was rather average, but good for the many children in the house (sausages, pasta, French fries). Negative: "Music" in the restaurant was disturbing.

The facility is excellent. We didn't use the all-inclusive option, but there are 3-4 different meals every evening, and breakfast, snacks and drinks until 9 p.m. are included (including schnapps). There is also a kids' club.
