Stunning place, the hotel is boutique and impressive the beach is 5 mins away waliking from the hotel. The staff was great and kind and we love the hotel definitely we wll return to this great place.

We spent 5 days at this Wonderful Property! Everything from our reservation process, accommodations, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the chef, wonderful breakfasts, wildlife in abundance and close proximity to the beach made for a wonderful experience! Christopher was exceptional and Room 14 was Muy tranquilo!
We definitely recommend the full day excursion of the National Park, Cocoa tour and waterfall hike, our guide pointed out crocodiles, vipers, sloths, monkeys, all types of frogs. Very fun day trip learning about the wildlife and the BriBri Tribe and their culture and history.
Thank you Exotico and your team of staff and partners, we highly recommend.

Exotico is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Beautiful amenities and location, delicious food and incredibly kind and welcoming staff. We loved staying there for our honeymoon.

Empezamos nuestra luna de miel en este hotel y no pudimos empezar mejor. La atención recibida por todo el personal tanto de recepción como del restaurante no tienen competencia. Especial mención a Fabrizzio que nos acompañó durante las noches en el restaurante. La habitación era preciosa, tal y como la habíamos visto en las fotos, no muy grande, pero cerramos las maletas y no fue un problema para nada. Echamos de menos una puerta en el baño, Sí, pero mientras uno iba al baño, el otro se relajaba en la terracita con un té o un café recién hecho, nada grave. Y los desayunos, de los 5 alojamientos en los que estuvimos en Costa Rica, algunos incluso más caros, han sido los mejores sin dudarlo. Verdaderamente cuando volvamos al Caribe Sur de Costa Rica volveremos a alojarnos en el Exótico, sin duda.

Incompetent management, very poor service: I got my pants discolored from the dry cleaners. Employees have no decision-making authority, everything has to go through management, who cannot be reached by phone and did not get back to me afterwards. Received a ridiculous discount as compensation. Construction sites are still there. The soundproofing in the rooms is inadequate, you can hear sleeping noises from the room next door, and when it rains it is so loud in the room that you cannot sleep. The pool surround has sagged and creates a 1 cm tripping edge, but no one cares. On some days there was no hotel parking available.

Ideal location, 100 meters from the beach, access by a small private path. Very pleasant and super clean rooms. Top service, the staff is adorable and available! The breakfast is delicious, the dishes in general are very good.
