The rooms are very basic and have an old-school charm. Our room was satisfactorily clean and had an air purifier in addition to the heat/ac unit, which was appreciated. A hair dryer is provided as well as liquid hand soap and body wash mounted on the walls. No suitcase stand is provided but there is one chair in the room.
Check in was easy and we left the door keys on the dresser at checkout. Our room was located around the back of the motel where it seemed that there were long-term guests that were loud late into the evenings and early in the mornings while the front of the motel appeared to be mostly empty, but the location on Manteo was nice and we were able to walk to several nearby stores and restaurants.

Basically the place is okay. Could use a MUCH NEEDED proficient, professional at the front desk. The kiosk might be fine, but an actual human being should be onsite for customers. Cedric is useless.

This independent motor hotel is very well managed. Helpful communication before I arrived. The room was very clean and had ample space. Sound insulation between rooms is poor. The room should have more outlets and/or USB ports to be up to current standards. There is only one light for the room, and it is not next to the one comfortable chair for reading. No desk. The smoke detector was missing in my room.

Pessima esperienza prenotazione cancellata mezz’ora prima di arrivare quando due ore prima ci avevano confermato Poca serietà poca professionalità ci hanno fatto dormire in 4 in una stanza doppia con due lettini da campeggio non torneremo più !

Nice place for location and for reasonable price. Parking was free and could park by the room. Very close to gas station, grocery, Pizza Hut. We only stayed one night; we just came to see the outdoor drama up the road. Room was extremely clean and well kept with recent paint and new floors. Mattress cover, clean or new coverlet. Fridge seemed new and was spotless. Kitchenette was really clean and looked new. Kiosk check in was actually pretty easy to use. Outside grounds kept nice with nice flowers. Overall, very nice for a motel in a busy location. We would stay here again.
