I stay at a lot of hotels and have very high status with 3 of the major chains (including Platinum in IHG). This Holiday Inn Express is the nicest one in the USA by far. It's relatively new, clean, modern, spacious, and has excellent service. I stayed for 2 nights with my family this past weekend in a suite, which was huge. There was a front room with 2 queen beds, a large bathroom with 2 sinks + fridge + microwave, and another bedroom with a king bed and sofa bed. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. My wife thought the sheets were amazing soft and we both loved the mattress. Jane at the front desk was so helpful and a pleasure to talk with. The breakfast was really great with fresh baked cinnamon rolls, regular and egg white omelettes, a fresh pancake machine, yogurt, muffins, pastries, and lots of other options. Parking was easy and the location was great for Manitou Springs. I would not hesitate staying at this property again - even if my activities are not nearby. I can't say enough good things about this hotel!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, desk guy gave us several really good options for supper nearby (The Keg was the one we chose) and the location was really close to the Garden of the Gods which we had time to drive through after we had eaten our early supper. Breakfast was okay (was not crazy about the egg thing but I’ve had much worse). At least the breakfast room had plenty of space and everything else was acceptable. Plenty of parking and reasonable rates. I would stay here again when in the area.

The front desk service of the hotel is superb. The front desk, housekeeping and parking staff are polite and very proactive to assist. The interior of the room is very clean. The hotel upgraded our QUEEN BED suite. We were overjoyed. We stayed for two nights and ate in the hotel. The quality of food and service in the hotel restaurant is very high during dinner time, and the service and food selection during breakfast time is slightly lower, which makes the overall rating slightly lower. The hotel stay in this 200-year-old hotel makes us leave a beautiful memory during the National Day holiday in the United States.

We have been going to Colorado Springs for years. This hotel has a GREAT location, within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants & entertainment of Manitou Springs! There is a public transit bus stop, literally across the street, which is super convenient! We utilized the bus for the incline. The hotel itself is clean, has comfortable beds, is quiet and has an outdoor pool and hot tub. The pool was closed for the season, but the hot tub was open! Too cold for us, but others were enjoying it, and it would be a great place to spend some time in the warmer months! The front desk staff were very friendly. There is a light breakfast…nothing fancy, but it did its job! We will definitely return! Our stay was great!
