On arrival we were given a nice double room - plenty of space, clean with a well furnished bathroom. After about half an hour we realised the heating in the room wasn't working so I called down to reception. Within 5 mins of calling, a lovely young member of staff came up to look at it. After another 5 mins or so he had upgraded us to an executive room on the same floor which was huge! He even offered to help us move our cases etc to the new room. We were also given complimentary vouchers for drinks and coffees. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice so all good with us. Cannot fault the customer care but there were a couple of small things that weren't great - the toilet in the second room didn't flush well at all but after being upgraded we weren't going to make an issue of it so said nothing Only other thing was the lack of light in the room - we had a side room so no natural light got in. There were a couple of lamps on the desk but far too dull - not great when trying to do hair and make up for a wedding! All in all we had an enjoyable stay at the Jury's Manchester and would stay again.

My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat đ what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift đ can't wait to come back thank you

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night to go to a show at the nearby arena and couldnât fault it for our needs. There is no parking on site but reasonably priced parking a 2 minute walk away, plus the hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the arena and close to all the shops and bars of the northern quarter. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, we arrived an hour before check in but were given our room straight away. Iâd requested a high floor and we were given a room on the top floor, which was clean and a decent size with a huge shower! The room was also quiet and breakfast was decent, with vegetarian sausages provided on request. For a short stay we couldnât fault it for the price.

I spent 21 days at this Hilton whilst awaiting my apartment to be ready. The incredibly hospitable staff made the stay a 4/5. Mo the general manager is a top class human as well as a collaborative, uplifting manager. The hotel ac was constantly disrupted, likely due to the unprecedented level of climate change weather, this year. The front desk staff were ready and willing to help with anything I needed. They are mostly 20 somethings that by nature enjoy genuinely helping people. Taren âconsummate professionalâ, Pier â my fav Italianâ, Igor âthe hustlerâ, Abbie âcomforting smileâ, Demi âsweetest personâ, Winnie âwish I could adopt herâ, Faz âthe kindest human everâ, Lianna âgets it done - even without a business centerâ, Serena âkind and quickâ, Jordan âkind smileâ and Patrick âthe mix masterâ, I would ike to publically thank each of these people for: providing fans in a pinch, providing business center services with0ut a business center, helping with a hot coffee (my fault) incident, suggestions for delicious BRITISH FOOD (?!@$!?), ideas on how to expedite my Manc assimilation. The maid staff were happy to provide extra towels and coffee creamers... they respected privacy and would leave supplies outside of our door unsolicited when we hung our do not disturb sign out... the list goes on and on. This is a wonderful Hampton that should be a model for all of the rest. I've been to a lot of them! I am forever grateful to the kind people here. They would have received 5 stars if the ac worked and the breakfast was changed up a bit. But @HiltonHotels needs to give everyone here a raise.

Was impressed with the hotel layout. The outside environment did not seem impressive but the inside was fabulous. Would definitely book again. Breakfast was great. My friend enjoyed it. The kitchen made an omelette specially.

Forgotten to write a review here last month right after my visit. Hilton has never disappointed me. Although it was just a short stay for a night, we felt welcomed. Diego was the best of the best in the hotel, he managed to get us checked in within minutes. The rooms were great as well, overlooking the cricket ground. Well maintained throughout the entire property. The only downside is with the bed, it is relatively small compared to other Hilton's King size beds. Don't forget to bring your own slippers as they don't provide with any. It would be best to have some stock there and make it available upon request (maybe at a charge to cover the extra cost?). The staff at the breakfast lounge were great as well, helped me heated up my croissant, which makes it a wonderful day to start with. Will definitely be there again when I visit Manchester or Liverpool.

Stayed here with my partner as we had plans to go into Manchester, this is located really well with a couple pubs close by and the train station within walking distance.
It wasn't a bad stay, staff were lovely and room was tidy with fresh bedding and facilities to make a tea/coffee.
It was a little noisey with people banging and walking back and forward from the bathroom as you could hear everything from our room as it was located next to the shared bathroom.
Breakfast too there was plenty of choice but could use some extra pans or somewhere to wash up.
Great for travellers or people on a budget.

Located 2 minutes walk from the Tram stop, you can get directly into the centre of Manchester in 45 minutes so perfect quiet place if you are going to an event like I was. The hotel is brand new and located opposite a leisure park of shops, restaurants and a cinema. The hotel was actually spectacular for a town centre hotel, modern and bright. The rooms were very nice well kitted out with mod cons. As a hilton Honors diamond member I was not offered a free upgrade, nor a late check out after 2pm as they said the house keeping leave at 3pm. Overall itâs a nice hotel, but I would not recommend it for hilton Honors members as the benefits are very limited.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Britannia Bolton hotel having read reviews I was not looking forward to our stay but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived, reception and corridors all spotless and the room we received was clean, comfortable and bathroom looked like it had just been upgraded, the staff were all pleasant and looked after you very well. Our morning started with a lovely breakfast good selection of cooked items as well as cereal's, toast etc not a large choice for evening meal but the price you pay couldn't complain.

Outstanding
MM Ramzan pThe time period I was staying at this hotel they had swimming championships. Which around 6 to 10 countries were also staying at the same hotel. Upon arrival they told me breakfast would end at 10:30am. Went to have breakfast at 9:30am and saw all the breakfast had been changed ( I have stayed at this hotel 3 different times so I knew what the breakfast would consist of ) they had made it all ďżźďżźďżźspecific to the athletes, All healthy options. They said if you want anything we can bring it to you. Which I said great no a problem. So ordered the full British breakfast which is tasty as always. But by the time they brought it out it was around 10:00am ( once again not a problem ). But they started to pack away the food at 10:00am. Not the 10:30am they said it would end. This buffet breakfast. So you would like to order a couple of times but how can you when they clear all the food at 10:00am and it takes you 30 minutes to bring out the food you ordered. They would clear it up early so they could getting cooking again for the athletes lunch which was at 12 till 3. It would be great if the hotel would consider other guests staying there. Very disappointed. But room was clean and modern as always.
GGuest UserPros - Room and facilities in room all top quality andd better than any other aparthotel I'd previously stayed in which I can sometimes find to be cheaply fitted out (this was not) - Great coffee, little treats and real milk in the fridge! And the fact it had a fridge btw to keep my little treats chilled! - Super comfortable bed - The power washer-esque shower nearly knocked me over! - Nice scented toiletries - Ironing board and available without needing to ask reception - Wonderful view across the Manchester skyline - Great location for me, maybe 10-15 minute walk at most in any direction to main areas (Picadilly, Arndale, Deansgate, Spinningfields) with the exception of the Northern Quarter (which I knew) - Room could easily accommodate 3 adults Cons - Downstairs lobby area under refurbishment wasn't the best first impression - Lifts could get busy at different times of day - Touch controls took a little getting used to - Would have been a bit pricey at full price for me as a solo traveller but as it was I got a great deal in advance through a bit of up front research and site searching
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very close to the city centre. The room is very cozy, clean and spacious. The hotel staff was really nice and helpful as well. The hotel is exactly what you would expect from a Marriott hotel - everything is just perfect and cozy. Would recommend to anyone staying in Manchester for a holiday.
GGuest UserWe booked here for one night. This hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road train station.
Check in was straight forward and fast, getting to your room even quicker. Lifts are near reception so no lugging suitcases etc. Staff were friendly, thereâs a bowl of your favourite chocolates on reception, my daughter was allowed to help herself to whatever she likedâŚthat was a nice touch.
We booked a room for 4 people, now the room was fairly small, but this is a city centre hotel at a great price. Bathroom was the right size. There is a thermostat near the door, we felt the heating could have been placed in a better location as it took a while to heat the room, the blower was right near the door, so heated that area quickly, but not the rest of the room.
Overall the hotel was clean, staff were all friendly and happy to talk if you wereâŚwe liked that too.
This hotel is used by all type of customers, families, business people, singles and couples.
The location is great, you are a 15 minute walk away from the main town centreâŚwith the Arndale Centre. In fairness I think why would you need to walk that far as thereâs loads of eateries and shops all around this hotel, enough to keep the day traveller happy.
The pictures donât fully do it justice as we had stayed in the room at the time of me taking them.
I loved the view!
I would stay here again, the price which is important was the best feature, cheapest hotel by a mile.
GGuest UserI stayed at the Milton last night the 22nd and it was excellent. I had read the reviews and was a bot concerned by them so approached the entrance with caution. Its clear the building used to be an office block and home to the DHSS. I was directed to the hotel reception where the pleasant surprises began clean airy and a very efficient and welcoming receptionist. Then onto the room which medium sized was warm the bed comfortable and the shower powerful . I ate in the bar and had a well cooked meal and a beer . Next morning breakfast was simply incredible value the selection was large the coffee good and the produce used a step up. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful . Its cheap but its great
GGuest UserWe arrived earlier than checking due to having spa treatments booked as we were celebrating our 10th anniversary and left our bags at the reception. 3pm we got to our room and got ready to go out for evening. We left the hotel at 5pm and informed reception the thermostat was showing a fault code and we couldn't increase the temperature. Reception said Maintance would sort it. 7 hours later we returned to a room we couldn't increase the temperature to as no one had fixed it. It's a clean nice hotel and great location for concerts but for the price we paid I wouldn't be staying here again.
GGuest UserGreat airport hotel. The room was clean and nice. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The included breakfast was good. The hotel isnât really within walking distance of the airport, an Uber is ÂŁ10 but the hotel is much cheaper in comparison to the Radisson inside the airport.
GGuest UserWe only paid ÂŁ42 for our room as we wanted to be close to the airport âŚ. Used Twilight check in so checked our cases in today and fly in the morning. Room absolutely fine, bar area nice, prices bloody great for a hotel in Manchester especially if you get here for happy hour between 5pm and 7pm ⌠I think itâs Sunday to Thurs. The reason I am writing this review is because of a friendly, very helpful black chap named Michael, heâs awesome! I offered to buy him a drink as we were leaving as I had no cash ⌠he said he couldnât âŚ. I was gutted, he deserved it!!
