Nice clean room and modern clean shower room. The hotel is in a good location and within easy reach of the city centre. Quite a good buffet breakfast but the restaurant area is quite small and gets very busy so best to avoid peak time.

Very good. The space is large. The location is very good. The hotel service is very good. The hotel environment is very good and very close to Oxford Road Station. It is very convenient. The surrounding supporting facilities are complete. It is very convenient to go to the University of Manchester.

Our stay was for a university visit, check in was good , the room was very small but was quiet. Shower was poor very little water pressure . The soap and shampoo dispenser didn’t work . All in all good stay really clean hotel room. Great find for the price and location with warm friendly staff.

Good location for a night out in Manchester. Close walking distance to Canal street. Normal Ibis standard. Friendly staff. Secured paid parking opposite the hotel. Good value for the money. Will stay again.

Really happy with decision to stay with Wilde. Mostly impressed with the room, which, was spacious & represented great value for money. Snacks/drinks...etc priced quite high, but, understandably so. That said, given the amenities offered in the room, self-catering is the primary option, with purchasing hotel snacks/drinks, viewed as a distant secondary option. Would happily stay with Wilde again

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts. Location: The location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s super accessible to all forms of transport, whether you’re arriving by train, bus, or tram. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle. Parking: The parking arrangement is convenient if you’re driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, you’ll need to pay, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for longer stretches. Hotel Condition: This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms. Rooms: The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just that—basic. They’re not particularly comfortable, and if you’re picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting. Breakfast: Breakfast is a solid deal at just £9. It’s not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. You’ll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast. Staff: The staff are a highlight of the hotel. They’re very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Value for Money: Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and don’t mind the dated vibe, it works. The lobby, common areas, and my room were spotless. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, ensuring that everything was in order each day. Service: 4/5 The staff at Grandview Hotel were friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. The concierge was particularly helpful in providing recommendations and assisting with reservations. Love the hotel! They even let me check in early around 11am! Felt so thankful as we are really tired from the flight day before . Great hotel with great breakfast selection! The bed is also super comfortable, clean and spacious! Tram is only few minutes away super convenient.
