I stayed for 2 nights on business. Have stayed previously. The hotel staff are always friendly and helpful the hotel is a great base, clean and comfortable beds. I would recommend the breakfast too. The young man on reception is so helpful and even remembers faces of those who have previously stayed. He is a credit to your hotel, his customer services skills are excellent. Thanks also to all the staff who work in various sectors of the hotel.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Lovely comfy bed but pillows need replacing as falling apart There was no hairdryer in our room but this was quickly rectified once we asked for one, We had a lovely chilled stay in our room but would not recommend the in house restaurant. I have left a separate review of that..š Reception and cleaning staff who we met around the hotel were super friendly. We were on floor 5 and it was so peaceful. If I hadnāt heard a shower (very quiet) next door I would have thought we were the only ones on that floor. Hotel is just a short walk from everywhere so in a good positionā¦ Only criticism is the hotel is so hot and I mean hot. You melt at reception when you check in. Also we couldnāt get the air con to work in our room so it was. Constantly 19 degrees

I'm really happy that I decided to book a stay at this hotel. Its central location in Manchester city is perfect for exploring all the attractions on foot. The room I stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious. However, the only downside was the lack of wifi in the rooms, which meant I had to go to the common area to get online.

Was impressed with the hotel layout. The outside environment did not seem impressive but the inside was fabulous. Would definitely book again. Breakfast was great. My friend enjoyed it. The kitchen made an omelette specially.

We had a lovely welcome and was given our key 45 minutes before checking in time which was a fabulous help as we had been at the Manchester Royal Infirmary all morning and was quite tired.
We also checked out at 12 instead of 11 due to myself having a panic attack. My partner was informed not to rush and stay until 12

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night to go to a show at the nearby arena and couldnāt fault it for our needs. There is no parking on site but reasonably priced parking a 2 minute walk away, plus the hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the arena and close to all the shops and bars of the northern quarter. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, we arrived an hour before check in but were given our room straight away. Iād requested a high floor and we were given a room on the top floor, which was clean and a decent size with a huge shower! The room was also quiet and breakfast was decent, with vegetarian sausages provided on request. For a short stay we couldnāt fault it for the price.

I spent 21 days at this Hilton whilst awaiting my apartment to be ready. The incredibly hospitable staff made the stay a 4/5. Mo the general manager is a top class human as well as a collaborative, uplifting manager. The hotel ac was constantly disrupted, likely due to the unprecedented level of climate change weather, this year. The front desk staff were ready and willing to help with anything I needed. They are mostly 20 somethings that by nature enjoy genuinely helping people. Taren āconsummate professionalā, Pier ā my fav Italianā, Igor āthe hustlerā, Abbie ācomforting smileā, Demi āsweetest personā, Winnie āwish I could adopt herā, Faz āthe kindest human everā, Lianna āgets it done - even without a business centerā, Serena ākind and quickā, Jordan ākind smileā and Patrick āthe mix masterā, I would ike to publically thank each of these people for: providing fans in a pinch, providing business center services with0ut a business center, helping with a hot coffee (my fault) incident, suggestions for delicious BRITISH FOOD (?!@$!?), ideas on how to expedite my Manc assimilation. The maid staff were happy to provide extra towels and coffee creamers... they respected privacy and would leave supplies outside of our door unsolicited when we hung our do not disturb sign out... the list goes on and on. This is a wonderful Hampton that should be a model for all of the rest. I've been to a lot of them! I am forever grateful to the kind people here. They would have received 5 stars if the ac worked and the breakfast was changed up a bit. But @HiltonHotels needs to give everyone here a raise.

Bed sheet had a stain, not sure if it was changed or washed properly. Found short hairs - about 5 on the duvet cover. Had a very busy day so did not bother to call the hotel staff to change the sheets as this was past 1 am. Dusted the sheets and used my shirt to cover the pillow. Needed sleep.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Britannia Bolton hotel having read reviews I was not looking forward to our stay but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived, reception and corridors all spotless and the room we received was clean, comfortable and bathroom looked like it had just been upgraded, the staff were all pleasant and looked after you very well. Our morning started with a lovely breakfast good selection of cooked items as well as cereal's, toast etc not a large choice for evening meal but the price you pay couldn't complain.

Located 2 minutes walk from the Tram stop, you can get directly into the centre of Manchester in 45 minutes so perfect quiet place if you are going to an event like I was. The hotel is brand new and located opposite a leisure park of shops, restaurants and a cinema. The hotel was actually spectacular for a town centre hotel, modern and bright. The rooms were very nice well kitted out with mod cons. As a hilton Honors diamond member I was not offered a free upgrade, nor a late check out after 2pm as they said the house keeping leave at 3pm. Overall itās a nice hotel, but I would not recommend it for hilton Honors members as the benefits are very limited.

GGuest UserWhat a fantastic wee hotel the Brooklyn is! We stayed here on the night of the 19th of June for one night before heading off abroad the next day. Great location and a very quirky little hotel far exceeding expectations and better than some of these corporate giants, loved it! Staff were all exceptional to us, friendly and professional always. Bar staff on that evening get a special mention as they were brilliant. Cocktails were out of this world, as stated by Cocktail Queen herself who I was travelling with. Loved the terrace style seating near the bar, never seen that before! Rooms were awesome, bathroom fantastic and I did have a good chuckle at the fact that you could see into the bathroom from the bedroom through a one-way glass panel, hilarious! Everything smelt so wonderfully clean in the building too and I could not fault this place at all! A wonderful stay and a big thanks to all the staff that were on that evening and the next day, you should all be exceptionally proud of yourselves!
GGuest UserPros - Room and facilities in room all top quality andd better than any other aparthotel I'd previously stayed in which I can sometimes find to be cheaply fitted out (this was not) - Great coffee, little treats and real milk in the fridge! And the fact it had a fridge btw to keep my little treats chilled! - Super comfortable bed - The power washer-esque shower nearly knocked me over! - Nice scented toiletries - Ironing board and available without needing to ask reception - Wonderful view across the Manchester skyline - Great location for me, maybe 10-15 minute walk at most in any direction to main areas (Picadilly, Arndale, Deansgate, Spinningfields) with the exception of the Northern Quarter (which I knew) - Room could easily accommodate 3 adults Cons - Downstairs lobby area under refurbishment wasn't the best first impression - Lifts could get busy at different times of day - Touch controls took a little getting used to - Would have been a bit pricey at full price for me as a solo traveller but as it was I got a great deal in advance through a bit of up front research and site searching
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very close to the city centre. The room is very cozy, clean and spacious. The hotel staff was really nice and helpful as well. The hotel is exactly what you would expect from a Marriott hotel - everything is just perfect and cozy. Would recommend to anyone staying in Manchester for a holiday.
GGuest UserI stayed at the Milton last night the 22nd and it was excellent. I had read the reviews and was a bot concerned by them so approached the entrance with caution. Its clear the building used to be an office block and home to the DHSS. I was directed to the hotel reception where the pleasant surprises began clean airy and a very efficient and welcoming receptionist. Then onto the room which medium sized was warm the bed comfortable and the shower powerful . I ate in the bar and had a well cooked meal and a beer . Next morning breakfast was simply incredible value the selection was large the coffee good and the produce used a step up. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful . Its cheap but its great
GGuest UserWe arrived earlier than checking due to having spa treatments booked as we were celebrating our 10th anniversary and left our bags at the reception. 3pm we got to our room and got ready to go out for evening. We left the hotel at 5pm and informed reception the thermostat was showing a fault code and we couldn't increase the temperature. Reception said Maintance would sort it. 7 hours later we returned to a room we couldn't increase the temperature to as no one had fixed it. It's a clean nice hotel and great location for concerts but for the price we paid I wouldn't be staying here again.
GGuest UserGreat airport hotel. The room was clean and nice. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The included breakfast was good. The hotel isnāt really within walking distance of the airport, an Uber is Ā£10 but the hotel is much cheaper in comparison to the Radisson inside the airport.
GGuest UserLocation and value for money are the reason we booked, plus that fact we spent most of the time out of the room. shower room is a good size, though the heat of the water does not need to exceed 40, for the sake of the environment. We had a basement room, bigger that other rooms apparently. yet gap between the end of the bed and the wall is tiny need to walk sideways to spend a penny at night. staff at reception knowledgeable of the surroundings.
GGuest UserWe only paid Ā£42 for our room as we wanted to be close to the airport ā¦. Used Twilight check in so checked our cases in today and fly in the morning. Room absolutely fine, bar area nice, prices bloody great for a hotel in Manchester especially if you get here for happy hour between 5pm and 7pm ā¦ I think itās Sunday to Thurs. The reason I am writing this review is because of a friendly, very helpful black chap named Michael, heās awesome! I offered to buy him a drink as we were leaving as I had no cash ā¦ he said he couldnāt ā¦. I was gutted, he deserved it!!
