Hendham House

I would never usually go so far as to write a review, however, soon as we arrived at Hendham House we checked straight back out. Initially, we believed the hotel to be located in central Manchester near Victoria Station as shown by the photos but it is in fact located in Harpurhey. Photos uploaded of the exterior of the hotel on the app were also a blatant and obvious lie as shown. On arrival we were also asked to provide a £50 security deposit by the lady on the desk, this wasn’t a problem until we arrived in our room to where the door frame was already broken off and there was a hole in the wall. The room we received looked nothing like the photos shown online and therefore I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. There are far cheaper hotels in central Manchester, save your money.

Booked this hotel in advance for a trip in June 2020, the place charged 3 of us just short of a grand for a 2 night stay. The whole of the UK then went into an unforeseen lockdown due to COVID which left us unable to travel BY LAW, and the place refused us of a refund and still have our money to this day! We are 3 teens on part-time minimum wage. Absolute disgrace.

Great hotel on the outskirts of Manchester. Would highly recommend to those travelling or working in the city centre. The rooms are clean, comfy and reasonably priced. The people who work there are very friendly and polite. They go the extra mile which is really nice and appreciated

The hotel cancelled my booking as they are trying to selfishly take more money from customers for the Oasis gig at Heaton Park. Booking confirmed and they selfishly cancelled as looking to money grab for the event, instead of honouring the booking they have opted to create a money grabbing opportunity

Great hotel, we were warmly greeted at the door and our bags were taken up to our room whilst we checked in. The room was large and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean. The staff were always on hand to give any directions and recommendations. Yes there was decorating work going on but it did not affect our stay in the slightest and it was nice to see them working hard to improve the hotel quality. We would definitely return the location was great and convenient. Only downside is it is noisy at times but that was no fault of the staff who we did see actively managing this. Overall we give 4 stars for this lovely experience and will be back

Hendham House is an absolutely amazing boutique-style hotel situated on the outskirts of Manchester, a mere 10 minutes' drive from the vibrant city center. Let me just say that the hotel staff are absolutely incredible! They are so friendly and attentive, always wearing a warm smile and going above and beyond to ensure that their guests have the most delightful stay imaginable. We can personally vouch for the exceptional experiences we've had here while setting up for various events. Each time has been absolutely fantastic, leaving us with nothing but fond memories.
