Akra Sorgun Tui Blue Sensatori - All Inclusive

For our 20th visit to this wonderful hotel we arrived during middle of October looking forward to enjoy the well renovated accommodation for 4 weeks. Happiness soon abounded again with the high standard of welcome at reception and we were soon comfortably installed in our room in the mixed area. Our first port of call was again the main self-service restaurant which immediately and through out our stay provided us with excellent choices of food through breakfast, lunch and evening dinner, including Theme and Gala evenings, cooked to a high standard with great service. Most lunchtimes were spent at the Ocean Snack Restaurant with some excellent menus available. This visit we enjoyed excellent evenings at the Ocean (fish style) and Safran (Turkish style), a-la-carte restaurants, regretfully not the Olive (Italian) as it became extremely popular and full with the guests that the hotel was full of at the time. Again Thea’s Coffee Shop and the Başka Ol area provided some great snacks, drinks and chocolates. Thank you to all the Chefs and kitchen staff for the wonderful quality. The staff in all restaurants continued once again to give excellent service to everyone with the Restaurant Captains once again everywhere monitoring, and serving where needed. Our grateful thanks to all the personnel from all the restaurants for their attention and great service. Also again, a big thank you to the Head of Food and Beverages, and his Deputy who would be seen regularly checking at every venue, and being very attentive to anyone's needs. As before, it was a great pleasure to enjoy drinks, especially some great cocktails, in the bar areas with super service, smiles and good conversation throughout from the lovely staff sometimes operating under difficult circumstances and we thank them very much for their kindness. Once again the high standard of cleaning was obvious throughout the hotel remaining as high as always for which the housekeeping personnel must be congratulated for keeping it so especially the lady who kept our room spotless The wonderful beach was our main daytime residence and we were well looked after by the super beach man, the beach bar staff and beach guard. Regretfully again we were not able to enjoy the many physical and excellent activities offered by Tui because of our age and medical condition but Boules became daily and enjoyable events for me as I met old friends and made new ones at the venue. Thank you to the supervising Tui personnel for the fun. The entertainment in the Lobby/Piano bar and the Clubhouse Bar, from the Tui resident musicians and groups/bands brought in by the hotel, was very enjoyable except again for one act who, despite being a superb performer and piano player and having a great voice insisted on having the loudest volume possible and regretfully we had to leave the areas to remain comfortable. A great holiday. Went for a week and that was just right. I think the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Great access to private beach, beautiful grounds, activities, choice of pools and restaurants and cafes. Evening entertainment was a bonus. Best buffet restauant ive seen. Rooms were large, clean and all sea facing. Because of this we only left the hotel once, a €1 bus ride to Side which was worth doing, beautidul harbour area and roman ruins. Bus stop just outside the hotel. We never return to the same hotel as we enjoy a new experience, but this may be worth a 2nd visit. Note though, the Turkish kids are left to run wild of an evening, running through the main bar and climbing on the stage. A couple had a go kart and scooter. We complained that at 10pm this wasnt on. The manager did get it stopped only for it to continue the next night. I think the hotel needs to have an adult only cut off time in the bars.

As my 7th visit to this wonderful and exceptional hotel comes to an end. I can only say what an absolutely amazing place this really is. Every single member of staff, including management and customer relations, I have met over all of my holidays, have been exceptionally polite, courteous and always go the extra mile to ensure your holiday, is an exceptional experience. If it’s help organising trips or which bus to get, or any special requests. They will always try their best to accommodate. The restaurants are 5* with food presented and cooked to a high standard. The grounds are well maintained and look amazing. The spa has an exceptional massage menu to choose from, that leaves you feeling totally relaxed and energised. The refit has taken the hotel to the next level with everything looking very fresh. For me though, I personally would like to thank every single employee for their hard work and dedication into making this hotel the 5* resort it deserves and for always making my holiday very special. Perfection is hard to find, and this hotel provides it all. I cannot recommend more highly. I would give it 6* just in its staff and service.
