I booked a room for $118, and was charged a $100 incidental fee. The manager who knows me by name had difficulty explaining that the fee is $100 on the weekend, and $50 on week days. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is friendly, but the extra $100 for incidentals is unacceptable. Even if it’s refunded in a few days.

This is a great hotel, it is very convenient for visiting the battlefield. The rooms are large and very clean, the bed one of the most comfortable. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. I recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Tijdens onze Roadtrip hier 2 nachten verbleven. Nette check-in, vriendelijk personeel. De kamers zijn gemoderniseerd en in eerste indruk prima. Heerlijke bedden. Goede badkamer, al zit de douchekop wel heel laag. Groot nadeel van de kamer merk je pas later, de kamers zijn heel erg gehorig. De muren lijken van papier! Je kunt letterlijk de gesprekken in de aanliggende kamer volgen. Ook de schoonmaak is bij meerdaags verblijf te minimaal. Alleen nieuwe handdoeken. Je bed wordt niet even opgemaakt (verschonen niet nodig, maar opmaken is toch een basisding) . Beetje jammer. Het zwembad mag zeker een update hebben, erg gedateerd. Zwemwater is ook erg koud. Wij zouden een volgende keer een ander hotel kiezen.

This is a great hotel. Two families travelling together to Washington. Decided to save some money staying outside of Washington proper for a couple nights of our trip. This hotel was close to Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum. First off, the most friendly and on the ball IHG staff I have ever encountered. All were happy to answer any questions or requests we had. The suites were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities you need. The pool was clean and was not over chlorinated making your eyes all red and blood shot after a swim and hard to breath while in the pool area. Breakfast was the average free breakfast offered by all HIE but staff was great at keeping all stations full during the peak breakfast hours. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back if we are ever in the area again.

Awesome suite of rooms!! King size bed with a desk, cool lamp, comfortable chair and decent tv, bathroom and living room with sofa, end table, coffee table and big tv. More than I needed but since I spent a fair amount of time in the room since wedding was not till 4 on Saturday, was quite comfortable. Fridge, coffee maker also provided. Ice maker on floor was out of service but one on 3rd floor was fully operational. I did have a service issue that was prompt handled on Sat. morning. They were apologetic at the front desk on Friday evening as I was heading out and promised someone would be there at 9--they were there way before and I was up so not an issue. EVERYONE at the facility was pleasant and I would stay there again.

Our room had stained sheets, a hair dryer that didn't work, and no light in the bathroom. They changed the sheets quickly, but the insides of the light fixture had been removed, so there was no bulb. They said it would be at least a half hour to replace the fixture and that they couldn't move us to another room because they were booked. I'm sure people that stayed in the room before me complained too. How can you shower and get ready with no light? The pool was closed for two of the three days we were there. The front desk told us that 200 kids were there there the day before and we didn't want to know what they did to the pool. Once it reopened, I wouldn't dare go in it. The walls of the pool were brown and in need of a good cleaning. It looks nothing like the pictures shown on the website. The manager was very unprofessional and rude. I was insulted by his snide remarks and his inappropriateness. I would not recommend staying here.

This is a pretty average hotel, beds are good and so is the cleaning. Friendly and helpful employees. The breakfast assortiment is very limited with your typical blend factory eggs and meat. Also a pancake maker. Three different cereals. No other hot options like oatmeal. No non-dairy options Some rooms noisier. Uneven room numbers face a wooded area which is more quite than the front. Tip: ask for a room without a connecting door. This door makes the room very noisy because you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing in their room. Towels get changed each day, even when hung because you plan on reusing. This to me is very wasteful n unnecessary. Trash n towels are changed each day, sheets n bed only every 5 days unless requested more often. This to me is a good n realistic schedule. Overall adequate hotel.
