Malvan Heritage ★★★

📍 plot no 2018B, city survey no 2018B, Dr, Ballav Road, Bharad, Malvan, sindhudurg, maharashtra, 416606, Ballad road, Malvan

"I am only writing this because of the trip.com interface and how easy and convenient it is. If this property was not listed on this website, I would never have booked it. I rated the location a little bit higher because this place is right in the middle of the market of Malwan, but that also makes this place noisy. This *** in the picture was summoned at around 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. in order to fix the flush that would not stop running. The flush fixture was hanging from the wall at this price in a very small place like Malwan. One would imagine that everything, at least, is installed and in place, but don't expect that in India, in most of such places, because there is no heart and soul left, just like the remainder of the country. I have an Indian passport, by the way. Before this property, I was staying at another one that is closer to the beaches, and those places are absolutely silent and dead and wonderful if you have a meditative mind. This particular property, what is this Malwan Heritage? It calls itself, is built up like a Delhi hotel, and there are elevators and everything, but there is zero soul. There is no heart in the property, in the sense that everybody is there with just enough participation to take home a check. I kept saying there was no hot water in the room, but no one could rectify it. This could also be my fault because I don't remember putting the card into the socket, or if I did, I don't remember that either. As soon as I tried to enter my room, somebody was sent upstairs to turn on a switch or a lever, and all the lights in the room came on. Why would I bother to put the card inside the socket? I really don't think that that could be why there was no hot water, and neither could somebody clue me into getting the hot water. The bed sheets and the blanket had one spot where they appeared like either a dried-up drop of blood or, if it was vermilion, I will not know. There was no hair on the bed sheet. If it had been otherwise slept in, then it had been shaken and then reinstalled. The television was working with online YouTube. The staff was borderline cooperative, but I won't call it polite or accommodative at all. It is like meeting strangers at the railway station, so that is Malwan Heritage for you. If you will stay with a homestay that is nearer to the beaches, I hope and pray that trip.com adds many of those properties. I also induce them to join trip.com so my American cards would work. All right."

Hotel Rosary House ★★
"Simply unbelievable!! Because it was not a planned trip to this location/place, but as we all say, at the end it was Almighty's plan, that we bumped into Rosary House. We confirmed the booking with the Owner Mr.Fernandes for 4 nights. After reaching Rosary House, it was all like a dream come true for me, Wife & our 6 yr old Son. The room allotted was really spacious, neat & clean, working AC, comfy bed, tidy & hygienic Washroom, with a huge Wardrobe. In front of our room there is a big spacious lobby having separate dining table with chairs where you can enjoy from Tea/breakfast to Dinner with your family. The Tea and breakfast was so refreshing, yummy, delicious and sumptuous with good quantity & quality. Must try Ghavne(Malvani Nashta), Surmai Thali, Omlette Bread & Veg Thali. These are Homemade by Owner's family members hence awesome. Location is next to Chivla Beach, hardly 100 mtr from beautiful beach, infact you literally hear the sound of waves right into your room. Parking is Spacious and huge open garden for your kids to play. We highly recommend this Homestay for Couples/families and friends."

The Empyrean ★★
"No, No, No.. Plz plz beware of spending your money for this so called resort.. we had premium most room there for three nights, ***** with 4 more executive premium rooms. it’s extremely bad in service, food, very much hyped charges for rooms n food. So called Jacuzzi can be filled with cold water only. Extra bed is replaced by useless extra mattress. Fake promises, no napkins n doormats in room and washroom, we had to ask for every single thing. Very very lazy staff who doesn’t want to work. Rivercoast resort is too good and reasonable for rooms and food than this. Please don’t waste your money. Empyrean take all payment in advanced so tat you can’t run away in between by getting irritated with their pathetic service. Plz beware aware. If there would be less than one star for service, I would have selected that. 12000 for one so called premium room per night is totally wastage of money. We had worst stay ever with this much paid amount."
