"We visited in June/July 26. The staff are lovely but I'm not sure the hotel deserves it's star rating or it's Jet 2 rating. Our room was an executive apartment. It was said to have a fully fitted kitchen and air-conditioning and looked very good and and quite upmarket in the brochure. It was very tired looking and where we expected a bit of luxury it was very basic. The kitchen had a coffee maker and sink but was definitely not fully equipped as there was no other equipment to be able to do any cooking of any description not even a knife or fork etc. The air conditioning was only in the kitchen/living area and didn't cool the bedroom at all. The cleaning wasn't really cleaning - it was bed making and towel refresh. The Jet 2 brochure describes various health and fitness options including air-conditioned gym and various classes including Yoga and aqua aerobics but these simply didn't exist. The brochure also states the bar is open fora MINIMUM of 12 hours a day but it's actually open for a Maximum of 12 hours and closes completely at 10.30pm. As there are no real bars in Maleme your only option is to drink on your balcony or go to bed. The food was adequate but quite repetitive. If you didn't get foor your meal as the restaurant opened you were very limited to what you could have as a lot of things didn't appear to be replenished. The pool areas are very nice with lots of comfortable sunbeds. The hotel also has some not so comfortable sunbeds on the beach for €5 for 2 beds and a umbrella. As I said initially all the staff are friendly amd helpful which is why I'm giving the review 4 stars instead of 3. I know the hotel attracts a lot of repeat visitors and I think the staff are the main reason for this. Unfortunately not a hotel we would return to."

"Well where do I start with this amazing gem !! Just spent a fantastic week at sunny suites in maleme . The rooms are spacious and comfortable and have great air con . The rooms get cleaned daily and the maids did a great job we were on the 1st floor looking over the pool with a good sized balcony . The pool was always clean as were all the public areas . The pool was deep and a great place to chill !! Not really an issue to get a sunbed and definitely no sunbed wars !! The staff were AMAZING all of them !! George. Manos. Pedro and the manager manolis . They were so lovely always willing to help and chat and just always making sure we were all happy and hydrated!! The bar snacks and drinks were reasonable and mostly inline with other local places although cocktails were a bit steep at 10 euros !! Manos definitely makes the best toasties !! ( Sorry George) The bus stops are very close and we used them a few times to go into chania and kolymbari and very cheap at 2.50 euros. Some nice restaurants nearby including mike's and the black lantern .and two supermarkets nearby too !! "A delightful place situated at the quiter end of town. Ideal for visiting this area of the island but also very comfortable for relaxing in. Family run with friendly customer service, together with very good attention to detail. The menu for 2023 was not extensive (plans for expansion in 2024) but all options were very well cooked and nicely presented. The garden/pool area is very pretty and the sun beds/pool are comfortable. The bar and restaurant are al fresco but with enough cover to keep the high season sun off. The management team take much pride in their business and are attentive to their customers needs. We visited over a 3 week period and every day was a pleasure. Car parking is available but the bus stop to/from Chania is just a few metres from the entrance."

"Perfect place to stay in Maleme! The hotel is very close to the beach and the cozy Maleme restaurants. The hotel itself is newly updated with great care and good style. The room had everything we needed and it was very well cleaned and maintained, very quiet and most importantly perfectly stylish as well as functioning. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful and I would 100% visit this hotel again."
