Hotels Near Sand mountain in Malé

A beautiful resort with good amenities for children and adults. The rooms are clean but during my 5 day stay the sheets were not changed sadly. The restaurant staff are selective about who they attend to but that is not an issue with me. The only issue I had was the restaurant not wanting to seat us because we did not have reservations on the day we arrived. There was only 2 tables occupied and after some insistence we got a table and an hour later after our meal the restaurant had the same number of guest so I don’t understand the initial refusal. Bring the bottled water bottle along with you because the restaurant charge you for table water. I love the transfer service prompt and welcoming.

We had a nice experience at this hotel, they were really warm n nice. Breakfast spread could be improved but for the price they r selling and the property being beach front I guess this is great. We were here for a quick transit to catch our flight as it would be longer if we transit directly from resort. Best part this hotel gives free to and fro transferd for free.

Great hotel! Just next to the beach, the beach is so beautiful, the hotel is very new, the bed is very comfortable, and it is very clean, everything in Maldives is so beautiful, it feels like being in paradise. The breakfast is very delicious and there are many types. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for vacation. Thank you for all team staffs. We are looking forward to come again.

...to enjoy your vacation. We have spent 10 days at the Bandos resort in September, and the place and staff are absolutely amazing (more about the people at the end). Unfortunately, there is currently construction work going on and we were only informed about this by our travel agent after the booking. Our beach villa did not really have a beach (yet) as this was still being prepared. The shovel excavator started doing its work at 7am in the morning and sometimes only stopped at 10:30pm. This was the unfortunate part. We do not necessarily blame the hotel for this as the renewal has to be done at some stage. The Bandos resort is soon getting 50 years old and it is good that it is being kept up to date. The new villas at the front left side are really nice. We would just have hoped that the current circumstances would have been better described on the web site and that the prices would have been adjusted accordingly. We had the all-inclusive package which is kind of a must, otherwise the vacation will be very expensive. With AI, you will have a wide choice of drinks and really good food for breakfast, at lunch and dinner. You definitely have to try the different curry's, they are excellent in taste. The best thing about the resort is its team. Everybody is fluent in English, very kind to you and can somehow read your mind and wishes that you have. The management must give their employees a really good training upfront. At dinner, Tanuj, xx, xx and xx gave us a perfect treatment. After a few days they recognized us, despite having to take care of so many visitors. Special requests, such as different beverages or food, were being taken care of right away. At the last day of our stay we had a table that was already prepared for us, The decoration looked wonderful and it almost felt like a honeymoon. The location gets 5 stars. The current construction works (and the way they are handled) reduces it down to 3-4 stars. However, the kindness of the team brings the overall impression back to 5 stars. We are a repeater guests of Summer Beach Hotel, and i am delighted to share my wonderful stay experience, the Staff were so friendly, helpful and flexible. From the meet and greet at the airport, luxurious car for pick up and drop off with a polite Driver i must say that they are excellent and passionate. Dining experience is always awesome, they have a “ must try “ food menu. The hotel is very clean, smells very good and comfortable to stay with. Close to the main road, the view was amazing. Special mention to Lalaine and Avril for their warm welcome and assistance whenever we stay at Summer Beach. Also, Thank you for the Manager for taking care of us. This is my favorite hotel in Male City.,

No frills stay, centrally located, everything was walking distance, well maintained hotel, I must thank Roshan Dilshad and his wonderful, polite and courteous staff for making me feel like I was at home, very attentive service, Roshan even helped me to book few day trips, my flight was at 9pm, I was supposed to check out at 12pm, they kindly let me stay until 5:30pm, next time if I visit Maldives, definitely I will choose this hotel.

The hotel for price quality ratio was good. Had a slight problem with the air conditioner but they resolved it/replaced it. Breakfast was pretty good but some of the food was too spicy for the customers at the hotel. Drinks for also expensive and I was just on half board so I didn't have any. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and I had a pleasurable experience. Be warned this hotel has a very dead reef. You can see fish but no reef. One side of the island is not swimmable. I paid $123 for a ocean view room with half board. Drinking water is free and plentiful. Make sure you get half bored because the buffet dinner is 60 US dollars.

My family and I were taken care of by Kishore, who was an exceptional host. He helped us from the moment we arrived until the day we departed, always making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The Hard Rock hotel is well equipped with everything one could desire on a family vacation. The swimming pool and beach have a great atmosphere frequently filled with music events and activities. The food is top notch and very diverse. Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy from a wide range of activities, such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (highly recommended), weight training center, Zumba classes and more. We will definitely return for a second round of paradise.

Eat well, the western food dessert is very delicious, the water house is regrettable that the house can not enter the sea directly, but the diving is really good, not a five-star diving, a lot of fish, service can also, compared to other islands The residence, eating, and playing of this resort is very cost effective.
