"Ididn't stay, I only ate at the lovely out door restaurant. Staff were lovely and helpful as I needed a take aways for my husband. He was poorly and could not leave his accomodation. Food was fine. On the last night I had a take away for my husband and returned for my own meal. It was the older waiter who served me and said there were no more tables but he could put me in the indoor restaurant. There was one more couple finishing their meal and I was left in the restaurant by myself for the duration of the meal. I felt humiliated and belittled being a single person by myself. Everyone after me were given an out side table.There was no effort to find me table outside. I had actually paid for two meals every time although one of them was a take away. I didnt feel I was wasting table space. Perhaps said waiter could be more courteous to single diners!"

"This is simply a wonderful hotel run by the owners elvira and her sister. The rooms are very very nice! We had a beautiful room, beautifully decorated, newly renovated with a view on the lake. Spotless clean, very modern, comfy beds, kettle, AC and safety deposit box too. The highlight of the hotel though is their breakfast which can easily compete with a 5* hotel! Absolutely amazing! It's less than 5 minutes away from mount baldo cable car and not even 10 minutes walk to the castle and malcesine town. The only thing is and this is not a complaint!, if you have mobility issues it can get a bit difficult as the meridiana is a bit uphill and the walk to the old part of town logically is down hill. But that's it really. We loved our stay there, would return any time!"

"Hotel Querceto is simply a gem of a hotel. It is wonderfully situated in the mountains so it provides stunning views of Lake Garda & also offers magnificent peace & quiet. This coupled with the excellent indoor & outdoor spa facilities makes it a superb place to visit. Valentina & the rest of the hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy. Their friendly attitude is evident from the moment you enter the doors of the hotel. I will gladly recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a superb experience."

"We booked this hotel for one night as a stopover on our way south. We were put in a run-down and dirty room on the ground floor. The bed was completely worn out and disgusting, with several cobwebs and bits of dirt hanging above it. The style of the rooms seems to date back to the 70s or 80s and is also quite dilapidated. The bathroom was very small, the shower difficult for my husband (who is 1.90 meters tall) to use, and it was clearly in dire need of renovation. From 3:00 a.m. onwards, sleep was impossible because construction workers staying in the hallway and outside were having a party. We didn't use the pool, so I can't comment on that. At least the air conditioning worked, and the breakfast was okay. Thirty years ago, this was certainly a good hotel, but today it desperately needs an investment in renovations. If it were renovated, I see great potential in the property. I would never spend a whole vacation here. The prices are unjustified for this condition and far too high!"
