Absolutely delicious Sunday carvery. All of the meats were incredibly well cooked, tender & carved to perfection. The vegetables & roast potatoes were spot on. The staff are very helpful & friendly. Relaxing environment. Highly recommended!

!! AVOID !! Yes the hotel is dated which is not a huge problem, but it is no excuse for the pure filth I found within the room. To list a few; The Hotel's smell resembled that of an unkempt nursing home. Blood stained bed spread, multiple different hairs on bedding, mould, cobwebs, carpet un-hoovered, tv remote covered in grime, thick coating of dust everywhere & extremely questionable stains & marks. I felt generally uncomfortable touching anything within the room. The Hotel was noisy, and I found myself to be lying fully clothed laid on the bed wide awake at 0200am; parlty due to the patrons within the In-house pub (located around 15ft from my room). The shower was not fit for purpose, and I didn't dare use the towels provided. As I had arrived late in the evening after a 6 hour drive for a work conference, leaving on the first night was not an option. The chap at the front desk was admittedly friendly on the face of it, an kindly provided me with an ironing board (dirty) and I took the opportunity to inform him the room was unclean. I was informed that I could not be moved room due to no availability, however i was assured that housekeeping would deep clean in time for my return the following day. I left a note for housekeeping listing a few of the issue only to find 1 had been rectified...the blood stained bedspread had been replaced. The remainder of the room was as dirty as I had found it. The same bedding was still inside witu all hairs still present! I re-informed the same Chap from the night before to which I was offered a room which did not have functioning lights or new bedding...by this point I was already planning my escape. Please save yourself some time and money and look elsewhere!!! Words for the hotel...basic cleanliness is surely not too much to expect for £72 per night. 3 nights booked, 1 night too many.

2 stars might be a little harsh but I cant give half stars and while it was not horrible it certainly is not a 3 star experience. On arrival there is free parking which is a bonus with ample parking at the rear and the receptionist was perfectly friendly. The overall feeling on arrival is very average in terms of presentation with the staff in jeans and t-shirts and a large KFC being eaten in reception as I booked in but he was very amenable and paused his lunch to check me in. I walked through the bar area to reach my room. It is very tired and was rapidly filling with builders still in work clothes. Again they were perfectly friendly but it is the kind of hotel where you will find plenty of dirty work clothes and site workers so that will affect your experience if you're expecting a slightly more upmarket ambience. The room was average with an old plastic shower and NO towels! This was especially irritating as I failed to notice until I was in the shower! I cannot even remember the last time I stayed in a hotel that had no towels but lesson learned. Check before you get in the shower. There was also a bottle of open shower gel in the bath I assume was from a previous visitor! The bed was clean and comfortable and the hotel also had free WiFi which was slow but did work fine. I guess if you are literally looking for a place to crash within walking distance of Maidstone Town centre this place will be perfect. It is affordable and serviceable, if basic and limited in relation to extras. I'm not sure i would stay again. While it was not a nightmare I think I would happily pay an extra £20-£30 for a place with decent towels, no fluorescent vests and a quality shower but as i have said if you are passing through and just need a bed for the night or working in the area it is perfectly fine.

My room being a double was extremely small, bathroom not functional. Everything was very outdated Carpet warn out and dirty, there was a step when entering and exciting the room I tripped every time. Luckily I stayed only one night I wanted to stay in Maidstone a little longer but I couldn’t possibly stayed in that room for another night. Compare to Travel lodge and Premier inn who are budget hotels price wise on that night it was more expensive that these two hotel stated The entrance of the hotel was not at all welcoming, cold and univiting.

Stayed at the Grange Moor hotel for one night, and the room was lovely and clean, comfortable bed to sleep in. Easy reach to the town centre. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Staff very helpful.

What an awful dive this place is and for £85 per night which doesn’t include breakfast is criminal. Waited a while for someone to come and check us in as the staff member wearing no uniform was stood outside smoking. We had to pay for the room on check in rather than check out…. I can see why!! No one in their right mind would pay their prices to stay here when they see the room! Dirty, unclean and it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. There was still a used razor left in the shower from previous guests! Bed was hard like concrete, plaster hanging off walls, cups weren’t clean to have tea and coffee in. Pillows were thin and useless. Couldn’t find anyone to speak too about making a complaint! Breakfast was overpriced and staff were lacking to welcome you to a table! Coffee was awful and tea was just as bad. Fawlty towers would have been a better place to stay!!!

We left early….. the room was not up to the standard we expected based on the info on *********** Toilet seat is yellow with wee stains, window handles are hanging off, bed is so soft it’s like a water mattress, the sink has blue gel on it from previous guests and then we tried the shower today and on full blast it’s a drip only. We arrived and they gave us a room in their over the road building…. It felt like an old doss house
