Good hotel for a short stay, the rooms are quite old but the bathroom is ok

Family-run hotel that was only sparsely occupied on the weekend. Most of the rooms are quiet as they face the inner courtyard or the side street. Very friendly and attentive staff, especially the two from the breakfast service and night reception. Bikes can be attached to stands in the inner courtyard and easily pushed through the hotel lobby at ground level through automatic doors. There are also plenty of places to sit in the courtyard, e.g. in the evening or for breakfast. These are available in a large hall in the neighboring building across the inner courtyard. The restaurant is due to reopen there soon. Despite very few people taking part in breakfast, there is a large selection. The scrambled eggs are made fresh to order. Negative: lack of air conditioning (fans can be borrowed) and somewhat worn dark wooden furniture from the "Neo-Biedermeyer" era.

Things seem to be going downhill. The underground car park is now closed and the Italian restaurant in the building is permanently closed. The rooms look old and are now really due for a comprehensive renovation. Motivated employees are still holding everything together well, but it is very clear that renovations will soon take place. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I would like to come back once they have spruced things up.

The hotel is characterised by spacious rooms with a good night's sleep. There is an underground car park. A sufficiently good breakfast awaits you here. In summer you can sit in the beautiful courtyard. Price/performance ratio was OK.

Large hotel with few guests when we were there. Rooms ok, friendly staff. Unfortunately there was little else to do. Bar/Restaurant only open for 3 hours and even closed on weekends. Uncomfortable and dark in the bar. The bartender was apparently afraid that too many guests were coming in. Sauna didn't work either. I had never experienced 5 € for a parking lot where you first have to trudge 50 meters through the mud to gain access and have to drive a long way backwards to exit. Everything should be better mentioned on the website.

I can't remember ever giving a hotel here a one-star rating. But in this case, I have no other idea: My room, on a pleasantly warm summer day, was stuffy and warm. There was no ventilation or air conditioning. At the same time, the window was so poorly insulated that the busy street kept me awake all night. Opening the window was impossible because of the noise. Keeping the window closed was impossible because of the lack of ventilation. The room was basically uninhabitable.
