First time of my life that I came here, I have found real nature surrundings of the resort. I have been arrived so late at night so I miss almost all thing on first day at here, but next day in early morning we drove up to the top of mountian to reach Doi Mon Cham as I found amazing scenery with excellence atmosphere. And when I came back to resort I got surprise with all thing at here that fullfill mylife while I stop everything or hide from all job.

Not bad, I just ride from Mae Hong Son to Chiangmai, it was raining so I can only book a hotel near by. The location is easy to find.
Ahcnng Camp

There weren't many places to choose from because I had to make a last minute reservation. It's a good place if you come without any expectations! The owner is friendly, but communication is difficult. You can feel the raw atmosphere of Moncham.
Proud Phu Fah Maerim Resort
4.5/536 Reviews
Proud Phu Fah was neat to stay at, but difficult for exploring Chiang Mai. We enjoyed feeling like we were staying in the jungle, and the room was clean and well-kept. There were three breakfast options, including one American breakfast, and the staff at the restaurant were especially pleasant. We were glad to have access to a pool, although it was a little chilly, even with pretty warm weather. In hindsight, we should have stayed closer to the city since we wanted to spend most of our time exploring Chiang Mai. There was a hotel driver available for an extra cost (1000 baht for a 1-way trip) who was very kind and flexible with our desires to go to the city. Once in the city, we had an easy time finding a Grab (like Uber) driver back to the hotel for a smaller cost. However, being about an hour away from the Old Town part of the city made for longer days. Overall, Proud Phu Fah would be a great place to stay if you are looking to hang out at the hotel most of the time! If you are wanting to explore Chiang Mai and go on excursions to an elephant sanctuary, the sticky waterfall, or Doi Inthanon, you're probably better off staying in the city instead!
Sukantara Cascade Resort and Spa
4.3/517 Reviews
It is a country hotel surrounded by jungle streams. The room was large, the room was clean and the decoration was three-star hotel standard. Breakfast was very good (the package did not lose the four-star hotel). Dinner is ordered in the restaurant, the chef is very skilled and tastes more delicious than the restaurant outside. Disadvantages: 30 kilometers away from the city, it takes 800 yuan to take a taxi to the hotel, and 800 yuan to leave the airport, and the cost of 1600 yuan to increase back and forth.
Howie's HomeStay
5/537 Reviews
We are frequent visitors of luxury travel, and we don't usually have the habit of writing reviews, but we didn't expect this kind of hotel in the world, so we must recommend it! This place is like a museum, my girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and found some interesting artwork every day, both furnishings and manor house designed by well-known designers! Because the design of this hotel is operated by Bill Bensley , and then the owner Howie's feelings for the artwork are perfectly interpreted in this place! It is also worth mentioning that Howie only receives one guest, basically feels like a bag, so the whole estate is ours, he will greet you personally, as if you are visiting an old friend! Howie's wife Jeri's Thai cuisine is beautiful rice and restaurant, there are different flowers every day, they ensure that we are cared for in the morning, afternoon and evening, we also enjoy Howie's hospitality, often share his entrepreneurial experience with us during dinner, and if you want to experience Chiang Mai, Howie will also provide all suggestions to ensure that everyone has peace of mind! I read other reviews before booking and feel too good to be truth, but it turned out to be true! This is a very good accommodation experience, endless aftertaste!
