ac is not in working condition, called the receptionist twice and nobody picked up the call. i decided to escalate this issue at reception around 11pm. no one was there to address my issue. even the reception area didn't turn on the ac. it was a very pathetic stay. after taking a shower i started sweetening a lot since there was no fan, my formal wear was almost wet while i came down for check out. very very worst experience.😡. after getting a worse experience if it's a pleasant experience yes every guest will take images and share their feedback for sure.

Bad smell in bed roll, pillow also bad smell, floor was dusty, towel very bad smelled. No hanger in wardrobe, no spoon for tea mixing. Very bad experience. For the bad smell how we can get images? your question also sense less like the property. Wasting my time

**WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THANGAM GRAND HOTEL IN MADURAI** This is, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The photos may look decent, but don’t be fooled. The reality is the *complete opposite*. From deplorable Wi-Fi to abysmal hygiene standards, this place fails on every front. **Filthy bathrooms**, poorly maintained rooms, and absolutely zero accountability from the staff. The management is **shockingly unprofessional**—they brush off every concern with the same line: "It'll be solved in the morning." Newsflash: *nothing* gets solved. And forget about speaking to a general manager—they’re completely **inaccessible** and seem to hide behind the chaos. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid this place like the plague. Booking this hotel will be the worst decision you could make for your stay in Madurai.

The room was neat, but the floor was not cleaned
food was good in the restaurant beds are not very comfortable, it is spring bed and you could feel when u sleep good and friendly staff

The standard of the hotel has fallen down drastically. The management doesn't bother about your needs of comfort or hygeine. Had booked an executive room and we got an unclean and disgusting room. No hot water, the kettle was not working, the intercom was out of service too. There were mosquitos all around. The management was not there at the reception to take your complaint or even a request for a service. I would suggest people, to not book this place for any reason. Ps : the food was bad and the chutneys were rotten at the morning breakfast.
