First time I've stayed in a Penta Hotel. Excellent & helpful communication with hotel prior to my stay. Like others I found checking in at the bar very strange and I found the guy at the bar doing this very curt (it was around 11 at night so maybe he had a hard day!). Decor on ground floor very modern, moody and dark - great they had a complimentary water cooler available. Rooms are very small but for one night it was fine - again modern decor and clean. My room could have done with a bit of maintenance however - curtain loose and paint(?) stain on carpet. The strangest thing about the room was how close the hairdryer was to the sink - couldn't really help splashing it when getting washed! Surely this can't be compliant with current safety regulations (see pic). All in all had a great sleep and would use Pentahotels again based on this short 1-night stay.

The hotel breakfast is good, the dinner is average, not recommended, there is no lunch, and there is no restaurant nearby, it is recommended to come back after eating in the city.
About shuttle bus. Go down to the 1st floor, zone E, wait for the shuttle bus, and the timetable will be attached. I didn't wait, I took a taxi directly, and it was in the early 10 euros, which was acceptable.
It's not easy to take a taxi nearby, there is 272 when you go out, swipe your credit card when you get on the bus, and transfer to the subway after 272 when you get to the city, you can go to many places. There are 471 and 282 nearby. Use Google Maps to look at the time. The traffic is convenient, but it is troublesome.
I can go to big supermarkets such as Carrefour after reloading the car twice, and I can also buy something back to the hotel to eat by myself.

GGuest User2023.02.27
This was the second time this year that we have decided to stay at the Sheraton Airport prior to our return trip home. While the hotel is overpriced it is so convenient for departure and it eliminates the anxiety regarding taxi or transit strikes (something that seems to be a cultural event). The hotel offers great service; friendly and efficient check in and checkout, good response to requests (extra towels), etc. While it seems to be appearing “a little tired” (light bulbs flickering, some new paint required) I have found it to be clean, comfortable and has the hottest water I have experienced anywhere in the world. Gullivers restaurant has adequate service and food although the wait time for meals in the evening can be a test of patience. Breakfast is much quicker and if you wish the breakfast buffet, it is complete and well presented. The coffee we had there both times was the best we have had anywhere during our past month in Belgium! Regarding the waiters in the evening (January 2nd) I must say the women staff and one man (I believe his name was Driss) were the ones doing the work. They constantly circulated the areas and responded to guest requests and needs, the other men just took up space. I had to mention this because it was just so obvious.

Just come home from a short two night stay at the hotel and everything was positive. Reception was down a few steps but there's a lift down for anyone who struggles with step. Check in was smooth and took less than 2 minutes . The room was very nice two single beds spaced quite close but if you are staying with friends or family this isn't an issue. Bathroom was clean and large with a bath and shower shower gel and shampoo was supplied attached to the wall in the shower. Free water daily stocked into the room fridge and also free coffee for the coffee machine. The later check out of 12 was a bonus and the hotel are happy to store luggage should you be on an evening flight. The hotel has a nice bar and all staff are friendly . The only issue would be because its such a large hotel the lifts are always busy we had to walk down the stairs from the 10th floor a few times which is a lot of steps so anyone on a higher floor just be warned if you aren't too good at walking. The area around the hotel is pretty nice a bit like a business district but venture a few streets behind and it gets a bit grim and becomes a bit more shady just a warning to have your wits about you if going that way .

Benjamin at your Doodles bar is the true heartbeat of your hotel! The day you lose him, your hotel will lose its soul. The breakfast is passable, but it's Benjamin behind the bar who truly elevates the entire experience! The hotel is in close proximity to all famous landmarks! #1416

We stayed in this hotel and we found it perfect in many aspects. It is relatively far from the city centre but it is well-communicated. There is a bus stop at two minutes from the hotel, and the metro station is at ten minutes, with a line that goes directly to the city centre. The hotel seems new, and the rooms too. The room is spacious with a big bathroom and a kitchen with all the utensils. Also, there is a table and chairs, so if you want to cook something and eat, you can do it perfectly. As an important aspect, there is a supermarket (Carrefour express) inside the hospital located in front of the hotel, and another one in the metro station. The hotel has a modern gym with free access and a laundry. We highly recommend this hotel, which has a reduced price compared to other hotels in the centre, and obviously with a very high quality.

On booking.com extra comment was added, honeymoon trip. No acknowledgement was received from the hotel regarding this. Emails we received was over and over again to upgrade the room and extra services. Little acknowledgement of congratulations and thank you for choosing us was enough as customer service. Easy fast check in. Room location was well explained. The room itself was very nice, size wise and clean. slippers, bath rope and extras were foreseen. Also there was a little welcome card with a cookie for the honeymoon. Thank you.

Fantastic hotel, central and easy access... the only one but we could not use the wellness space because it was full booked, they could give priority to the hotel guests, for the rest, all right
At Novotel Leuven Centrum you will quickly feel at home in our spacious rooms. The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the train station. Stayed here for 3 nights while attending the F1. The hotel is in a good location, only 10 mins walk to the bus/train station and places to eat. Nice lobby/bar area. We only had breakfast, so we can't comment on other meals, but breakfast was more than enough. Plenty to choose from, hot food, breads, pastries, cheese, meats, waffles etc.., The room was large with plenty of storage space. Fridge is provided and contained a complimentary bottle of water. Tea and coffee facilities are provided with paper cups. They were not replenished during our stay, so not enough creamer to last 3 days. I'm sure they would have been available had I asked, but it would have been nice to have it there when we returned late at night. The shower room was clean and shower gel provided. Nice fluffy towels provided. We had a separate toilet. There are plenty of sockets/USB ports in the room. Choice of TV channels was disappointing but I didn't go to sit and watch TV. Check out was quick and easy.

GGuest UserIn my experience hotels such as the Holiday Inn Airport Brussels are few and far between. They were prompt, efficient, had answers to all our questions, and catered to our whims. The lobby/main floor caters to the comforts of their guests with a lounge area, bar area, restaurant area, and an outdoor area. The breakfast and dinner was superb (I had the salmon for dinner). Perhaps an improvement could be made to the three slight level differences in the room as it would be safer for those who are a bit wobbly on their feet.

Mmi youngAmong the hotels I visited during my trip, the service and facilities were very good. It was great for families to stay, and it had a kitchen so it was convenient to cook food. Parking was safe, and the free washing machine and dryer in the basement were useful. clean
GGuest UserThe location is very close to the airport. There is a hotel shuttle bus on the right hand side of Platform B on the 0th floor of the airport. It runs every half an hour and takes 10 minutes by car to the hotel. The hotel breakfast and dinner steak were great.
ZZIDONGThe hotel breakfast is good, the dinner is average, not recommended, there is no lunch, and there is no restaurant nearby, it is recommended to come back after eating in the city.

GGuest UserI was there only one night to catch my next flight the following day. Room was clean and comfortable. Service was good. Nothing else accessible in the area. So, you go the in the same situation I was.
GGuest UserSo, if you have any allergies best avoid this hotel, they have no care for anyone with allergies. I am a celiac, on my first day we got there we were all informed the restaurant was on a small menu due to staff issues, so there was nothing at all for me on this small menu (I have come to expect this) what I didnt expect was to be totally ignored at breakfast. I took a sign that explained my allergies in the local dialect, I took 3 different cards to avoid any issues. I gave the sign to the receptionist who took me to the breakfast buffet and said there was nothing for me. Come the 2nd day, I did the same as the receptionist was different, he took the sign to the chef who informed him there was nothing they could make me. So at €120 a night for bed and breakfast, I couldn't have any breakfast, 3 nights I stayed and I didnt have a single item of food from the hotel. I asked to speak to a manager who obviously ignored me as she didn't want the hassle. When I got home I emailed the company who own ibis (it was a pain to find an email in the first place) they said it wasn't correct and would email the hotel to investigate the issue. After 2 days I get an email back from the manager of the hotel, the email said there was actually something I could eat bar the ham and cheese her receptionist stated. She also explained there was no cross contamination even though I was watching her staff contaminate all the food she claimed I could have. I emailed back and obviously she couldn't be bothered to reply. I tried to email the initial company who now ignored me and refuse to solve this issue. I have never experienced anything like this before, I had nothing to eat for breakfast and as we were on the spa f1 trip when we all got to the track again there was nothing for me so I ended up loosing alot of weight due to this. At €120 a night its ridiculous to think there was no breakfast for me, its even worse to think the hotel refused to dp anything about it. They have a sign above the buffet that had all the allergies on it but clearly this is just a facade as if you ask the staff they have no clue and just stand there going well you can't have any food, it's a shame. Please bare in mine this hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate and there are no other restaurants or takeaways nearby so if you can't eat at the hotel you have to travel to Brussels to get something. So the hotel its self. As stated the staff are all useless and have no care whatsoever The room was small, cold, dirty and unsuitable. There was no safe, the tv didn't work, the window wouldn't close properly, the room was always cold but they provided massive duvets to counter this. One night at 4am there was some kid in the hall having a shouting match with himself, this wouldn't have been the hotel's issue, but I was the first room on the ground floor next to reception, so when this guy was shouting and waking up the whole hotel, he was 5meter away from the receptionist who didn't do any
JJ3357ERjanetbI stayed here with colleagues 3 times in 8 days. The first visit I was greeted by a most friendly, understanding, humorous and friendly man who could not have made the process any better. The second visit the man hadn't a smile or any warmth in his greeting. The third time possibly due to my colleague and I trying to discuss that we didn't like having to run the gauntlet of smokers outside the only entrance and it being enclosed on 3 sides we were met with distain, sarcasm, sideways looks between colleagues and frank rudeness. There was no attempt to even try to apologise, quiet the opposite in fact being told that ”it's outside so doesn't matter!” Customer service needs attention. Rooms clean, needs comfy, breakfast adequate. Restaurant available in the next door Ibis standard hotel. Staff here very pleasant. Food below average. Position was great for our needs. Plenty of car parking. Pay at reception for parking of you require a receipt otherwise the barrier doesn't give you one and you have to go back to reception to request one to be emailed to you.
BBIAOThe hotel is about 5-6 minutes drive from Brussels Airport. The hotel environment is general, but free parking is available at the door. Next to the hotel is the train track, the noise is relatively loud, and the sound of the plane taking off and landing is relatively loud. The hot water is OK, and the sleep is OK.
