Clover Motel

The room I was given had not been cleaned after the last guest had checked out. The floor was sticky, as I had to peel my shoes off with every step; the showers had some sort of built-up residue; the counter tops/microwave were not cleaned, as they had gunk on them; and lastly, the sheets were used and crinkled, with a lovely toenail in the center. After I tried to get a refund, I was offered two different rooms with varying degrees of uncleanliness. I understandably did not accept either and instead insisted on my refund. They denied me, and I left as I figured I was not getting anywhere with the staff. If you can help it, I would stay elsewhere. I had just driven for 6 hours; I was not in the mood to deal with any of what unfolded. The extra 100 dollars for a different spot is worth it. Enjoy your stay in LA!

They were good no problems just that we found the previous renters old food in the fridge and the microwave other than that it was a good stay

PROS; Large room, fairly clean. CONS: poor amenities, so poor I had to go to store get soaps, shampoo, cup ( for drinking water), etc. Some nights lots of noise from people outside.

The staff were helpful and gave me what I needed when asked. My only complaint was the pillows, but in the end, it wasn’t uncomfortable to sleep on them.
