It's a super nice, well-maintained hotel with friendly staff. I am a Diamond Member and have stayed at Hilton Chain Hotels, specifically Homewood Suites, for years. This is one of the best I have stayed at; every detail and customer experience is mainly focused on. They leave no stone unturned in ensuring their customers are cared for. Thanks for such a wonderful experience. It says a lot that at the counter, a business card for the Area Director of Sales and Assistant General Manager are available with their contact information. Princess Moore, Assistant General Manager, checked me in, and there is no doubt why she is in a leadership position. I had a great stay at the Homewood Suites, Lynchburg. Lisa checked me in early and she was extremely busy juggling multiple calls yet professional and kind-hearted. All of the staff that I came in contact with in two days were nothing but kind souls. Not sure about the bad reviews are on here. This hotel is 4 years old, nice and new. The area is safe, it is right down the street from Liberty University. I'm a female and I travel alone and it's important to me to stay in a safe area. This place hit all the marks! Will be back again soon.

Just really wanted to write about Brian as he was such a pleasant and hard worker, so wanted to acknowledge him. He was always cleaning everywhere and trying to make the hotel look nice. He was so kind and very personable to everyone he encountered. Very kind soul! Thank you Brian for your hard work at Homewood Suites to try and make the experience clean and a friendlier one.

Tina checked us in and she was very helpful and personable. This is a relatively new property. Our room exceeded our expectations! The handicapped parking space, near the door, nearest our room; did not have a ramp, just a big curb! At breakfast there was NO fruit what so ever! When we arrived there was one yogurt left. No boiled eggs. There were no knifes! There was no Bagel cutter. So every one had to take a spoon or fork, and turn it around to cut the Bagels and English muffins; and to put spreads on bread, muffins, or Bagels; and use a backwards spoon or fork to cut their omelet. There was only one staff working breakfast, and he could not keep the food replenished, nor did he ever wash/clean tables! They should have a continuous toaster and two waffle makers for the size property they are. This property does not have enough luggage carts for the size property that they are! Not having accesses to a luggage cart delayed our departure by 30 minutes, by having us make multiple trips to our car, caring our own luggage! We both are in out very late 60s You can not turn left (South) out of the property, you have to turn North, go two blocks and make a U-turn. If coming from the North, it is very difficult to turn left into the property. You generally need to go two blocks South and make a U-turn and come back. To us, this Hotel was not worth the price we paid, and there are plenty of other Motels to choose from; and we will stay elsewhere the next time we return to Lynchburg.

Had to ask to get towels bar from the parking lot that was on the fire car that didn’t get cleaned up and beg him to clean the room on Thursday. That’s four days that we were there and they said they change the room every other day.

It is the worst experience one can have when checking in at the reception, they do not have the slightest preparation to serve guests, I approached the reception to check in but there was no one, I waited more than 5 minutes suddenly A woman comes out of the kitchen with terrible aggressiveness and in a super aggressive way she says what she wants, I say good night and super aggressively she tells me what she wants, I tell her that we need to check-in she tells me in a way that we are scarce no There are rooms, I told him I had a reservation and he didn't care he kept saying there are no rooms, and if they don't leave I will call the police, I was going with my family, my daughter had a panic attack with the aggressiveness of that lady, We left the hotel, called Hilton customer service and after 8 days, the hotel did not apologize or anything and they did charge me for the night for which I paid and because of that person they did not make the deposit to us

This hotel has clearly been recently updated. Although far too much pattern mixing for my taste, it is nonetheless clean and fresh. It is near the airport (which is convenient but also noisy at times). The real noise however came from the trains which run very close to the non street side of the hotel. We had a studio and we’re surprised there was only one (office style) chair at the dining table. The table could be wheeled over to the couch (if you first move the fairly heavy ottoman) however your chin would be on the table. So eating was awkward. The kitchen (like every other Homewood Suites) could be better equipped. You have to go to the “kitchen” for ice as there are no ice machines on any of the floors. While I appreciate not having the ice machine noise, it can be hard to find someone to help you in the kitchen at times. There is a lovely outdoor area, small fitness center, and guest laundry which all looked in great condition. Be advised that there is only housekeeping if you request it (which we were not informed of when we checked in). We don’t usually want daily housekeeping ourselves, but it would have been nice to know in advance. The breakfast was typical buffet style and had the waffle maker of course.

I had a really good experience at this hotel. Despite some earlier reviews, I felt that our room and the place as a whole were very clean. I enjoyed the breakfast (it was typical of most hotels) and the breakfast area was also kept very clean. The staff was friendly. The outdoor fire pit area was very nice. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that the bed pillows need replaced. They were very flat— like bent in half when you picked them up flat. All of them. Other than that, we would stay here again.

I stayed for a week in the hotel once asked for room cleaning and bathroom supplies, they didn’t care first time, I asked again and they said they did not have staff and asked me to go get towels, next day I noticed someone had come to the room spreaded the same sheet on the bed, threw pillows on the dirty floor and gone ( this was my experience of room to be cleaned) The breakfast was the lowest quality you can imagine.will not go there again.
