"Lovely hotel on the fjord. We enjoyed the midnight sun, admiring the fjord from our window at 11:00PM. Pleasant scenic deck afforded a great cocktail hour. Dinner was delicious and staff were fantastic. Lovely place to stay."

"Our 2-night stay at the Walaker Hotel in June was one of our best experiences during our 4-week trip to Norway in June. It was worth every penny of the splurge to stay there. We booked one of the Best Historical Rooms that overlooked Lusterfjord. Every morning was a treat watching the pastel colors of daybreak above the calm waters of the fjord from our window. The room was impeccably maintained and comfortable. The Walaker grounds and landscaping were beautiful and invited a sense of calm and relaxation. We truly felt as if we were taking a vacation from our vacation. I would be remiss not to mention the wonderful breakfast as well as the delectable 4-course dinner. The warm and friendly staff also deserve high praise as they took extra steps to assist me with a special need. Attention to detail and commitment to a superior guest experience is evident throughout. I highly recommend the Walaker--it is truly a special place."
