We arrived in Luoyang for a few days in early November and booked a hotel reservation at the newly opened Mercure Hotel. The train arrived early that day, so we should not have been able to check in by the time we arrived at the hotel. However, the colleagues at the hotel front desk were very nice and we immediately checked in. Help us check if there is a room, and we can arrange to enter the room in a short time. The room was large, clean and very comfortable! If I want to be picky, the windows and doors in the room are relatively thin. In addition, because we are afraid of heat, we usually turn down the air-conditioning in the room. However, the air-conditioning in the room is not under our control. When we reported the situation to the front desk colleagues, they explained that the hotel's air-conditioning is centrally located. The control cannot be adjusted individually. On the first night, we were too hot to sleep. On the second and third nights, we could only turn off the air conditioner and open the windows and doors to let in the cold wind from outside, which would make us more comfortable😅
