I took my 70-year-old parents on a self-driving tour in western Sichuan. The original room type and bed were small, so I paid the difference on site to upgrade the room. It was worth it! The sulfur hot spring is really nice. I didn’t go to a public hot spring. The hot spring in the room drains water quickly. The pool is big enough for 3-4 people to soak at the same time. It is private and very clean (you can rinse it with ordinary cold water). It is also very suitable for couples. Parents and children. Thanks to Xiao Deng for the warm reception, I was very satisfied with my two-night stay in Hailuogou! Although the scenic spots are a little disappointing, the glaciers are relatively average, and I didn’t see Gongga Mountain, so let’s just contribute to post-disaster reconstruction! The only shortcoming of the hotel is that the breakfast needs to be improved. It is so simple during the off-season that there is almost nothing to eat.

The room was large and clean, and the interior decoration felt very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and very rich. The yak beef soup pot for dinner was a big one, I couldn't finish it at all, and it was very cheap. Because of the power outage, I almost couldn't live in this homestay. Fortunately, I was very lucky. I called half an hour before we arrived on the long journey. The next day, Hailuogou also had a great time. Although I didn't see Rizhao Jinshan, I saw snow and fought a snowball. It was worth it.

The name of the hotel is very poetic. I took my children to drive in western Sichuan during the National Day holiday. Hailuogou was originally a scenic spot as famous as Jiuzhaigou. I wanted to see the actual situation after the earthquake. Driving all the way from Xindongqiao to this B&B halfway up the mountain requires both driving skills and courage. However, the scenery along the way, the wonders along the way, the simplicity and ecology are so suitable for relaxing. The hotel facilities are very high-end and the materials are exquisite. The fragrance of roses is felt as soon as you open the door. The bedding is comfortable. Because I arrived very late that day, I fell into a deep sleep. The first time I went to Hailuogou, I drove from Chengdu. Due to the frequent rain recently, I encountered a circuit breaker. I called the owner of the hotel in despair. The boss helped us find a solution in time. The homestay was only opened in 2024, and the decoration was completed in 2022, so the room was very new but tasteless.
