The room relatively clean, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well. There were a few minor issues: there was a small roach in the bathroom, some caulking and tub shown aged. A lamp on the headboard of the bed was broken and the wire tangle by the switch. This can be a safety hazard if the cooper part exposed. The hotel staff acknowledge the issue by take no action. (room 310)

I’m pretty sure they’re the only real hotel in town, which is why it blows me away that they care so freaking much about their guests!!! The hotel is undergoing renovations, and it is looking beautiful, but the staff are the real win here. They are unbelievable!

Clean rooms , amazing service, lady at front desk was amazing very friendly! (Sharon) absolutely loved the service can't wait to come back a stay again and bring my family!!! Thank yall soooo muchhhh will recommend this hotel to everyone!!

I reserved a room with my debit card, but when we arrived, the clerk REFUSED to be paid in cash. This hotel does NOT take cash. The clerk said they are doing away with cash! I’m not surprised since IHG is an evil corporate conglomerate. AVOID!!! Stayed at the Rocky Creek Inn instead and saved $40! Buh BYE!!

Our family had a home emergency and we went to the holiday inn. as flustered and stressed as we were, Denise made the experience so easy going and unforgettable in the context of our distressing circumstances. The kitchen staff were phenomenal and everything was always so clean and welcoming. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We see many staycations in our future!

Ok but not great. Our rooms refrigerator does not cool. We had to keep our food in our cooler and there was no working ice machine. The staff had a small half a bag which wasn't enough. Luckily there was a gas station close by to get some ice. Only other problem is it's clear they don't clean the bedspreads. We took ours off due to it being dirty, food or something spilled on it. This needs to become a habit of hotels to change bedspreads. Not just sheets. Having said that it was a nice hotel for an overnight and the staff was nice as was the breakfast staff. Breakfast was typical but good and coffee was really good and it was set up earlier then 7 which makes sense for travelers.

Allison at front desk made my stay absolutely wonderful. The rooms are always so comfortable, well stocked with the essentials that are needed. Had a personal problem and the staff made sure it was taken care of. The amenities were fabulous.

Great hotel! Was very clean and friendly. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to Mississippi. Highly recommended staff was friendly. Sheet were clean, bathroom was clean, Pillows were fluffy. Sheets were soft.

The staff is always wonderful there! I will always go back here when visiting Lucedale, MS. The rooms are always very clean and nice. The staff is very helpful and a delight to engage with. The breakfast is very good, biscuits and gravy is the best!
