I stay at many Fairfields and Marriotts, but this is not one I am going back to. It is a party hotel, both inside the lobby and outside in the parking lot. When we arrived at 8 PM, there was a large drinking party in the conference room being loud, and outside the exits, people were tailgating from trucks. I was there with my child, and it did not feel safe. The front desk attendant was also confrontational and hostile for no reason. Maybe it is stressful to work at this place? The rooms were acceptable but had some wear and tear, not from bad housekeeping but from rough guests. I do not stay at places like this, and I am not coming back.

Visiting Lubbock for business and this property meets my needs very well for the trip. Free parking, easy to get in and out of, and there’s a shopping center right next door for picking up essentials. The staff is friendly and the hotel is kept very clean. The hotel itself is very quiet but rooms on the Milwaukee Ave end of the property may experience some street noise from motorcycles and other loud vehicles. It didn’t keep me awake (and I was in the very end room) but if it’s likely to disturb you try asking for a room further from the street. The only minor complaint I have is about the breakfast - I was really looking forward to the vat of Fairfield gloopy oatmeal with the raisins to sprinkle on top, but instead they had single-serve Quaker cups. Nevertheless, I was able to find something to eat :) This was a great, convenient place to stay in Lubbock and will be my go-to for future trips!

Stayed here for three nights. I liked the location. Staff was friendly. Elevators were broken during stay, looked like they had been for awhile. Room was big and clean. My only issue was breakfast. Inconsistent day to day. Bread they had for toast was stale.

A decent place to stay for a couple of nights if you’re in West Lubbock. There are some good dining options within a couple of miles, including some well-known chains and a couple of good local restaurants like Plaza and Teddy Jack’s. For a Fairfield, the fitness center was well equipped, the breakfast was decent both mornings I was here. The yogurt fridge was well stocked, but I didn’t see any fresh berry options. Minor inconveniences included the elevator not being operational (I was on the first floor, fortunately.) and the side doors to the parking lot, not allowing entry back into the building… One has to enter through the main entrance every time. However, my room was very clean upon check-in, and the staff was polite (especially the kitchen guy). There is a train track across Milwaukee Avenue, but I only heard/saw one train on my stay, and that was an extremely short one.

During my stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lubbock Southwest, I was impressed by the exceptional professionalism of the staff. They were attentive, accommodating, and truly made my experience enjoyable. The room was impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment. The highlight was the beautiful outdoor patio, offering a serene space to relax and unwind. While the exercise area was decent, it provided the essentials for a workout. Overall, my day was truly pleasant, largely thanks to the courteous staff, clean accommodations, the lovely outdoor patio, and the available exercise amenities.

Conveniently located; wonderful outdoor pool & patio. There was a piece of wrapped candy under the desk area. Made us wonder if room had been properly vacuumed! Breakfast at 730 a.m. today was very lacking. Sparse items -- bacon, eggs, bread were all "picked over". Hotel didn't seem to be capacity full so was surprised as we've stayed here many times previously.

Stayed here a couple weeks ago and I’d highly recommended staying elsewhere when you’re in Lubbock. This is one of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever experienced. On a hot and muggy night, our AC would cycle on for 2 minutes and then not run again for another hour. I called and complained to the front desk. I received a lecture on how to “work a thermostat”. After the expert help from the front desk, she came to the room and tried to fix it herself. Still didn’t work. I was told a maintenance person would come by and they never showed up. Room temp overnight was close to 80 degrees. Hotel was full for the night so we had no choice but to stay in this room. This is a fairly new hotel so I’m surprised this was an issue. Do yourself a favor…don’t stay here unless you have to. There’s so many better properties in Lubbock. This place should be avoided at all costs.

Breakfast could have been better. They don’t provide fresh waffles they are prepackaged along with some other items. Coffee was out by 10 . They now charge for parking and their business was down.
