"The hotel is in a good location and there is free parking in front of the hotel. The bathroom is separated from dry and wet areas, and breakfast is not included in the accommodation. Laoma Shaobing Restaurant opposite Shadian has a great breakfast of shaobing and tofu. This is the second time I have stayed at a luxury hotel. The health and facilities are not ideal and should be improved. However, there is no better hotel in the center of Luanping County."

"The hotel room is not very warm, the quilt is relatively thin, and the soundproofing is very poor. At 23:30 last night, people in other rooms in the corridor were still making loud noises, which was very speechless. A deposit of 100 is required for check-in, and it cannot be refunded upon check-out, only 100 in cash, but it must be paid after the cleaning staff has checked the room (I don't understand what the 100 deposit is for in such a shabby hotel with nothing in the room?). It is a waste of time!"

"We booked two nights at this hotel. What we liked was that it was very spacious, and also really clean. Also the airconditioning was easy to setup and worked really well so we could sleep good! It was also very nice that the hotel has this free shuttle to the trainstation in Gubeikou: they didn’t tell us about it though, I had to find out myself when I asked them to call us a taxi. I do have to point out that this place was a little weird. We were here in off-season, so I understand that maybe some services/amneties are not in use, but at some moments we felt a bit unwelcome. They promote their café with specialty coffee in their photos, but this was closed most of the time. We managed to order coffee two times, but the staff acted as if this was really a hastle for them. Also, while the room was big and spacious, the water in the shower took a very very long time to get warm and even when it did it switched a lot between hot and cold. Locationwise, not the best: there’s no restaurants around. Only one other homestay (25-30 min walk) offered food - that was great. Also, there is no didi here, so you have to find your way around asking local people to take you somewhere and pay them. Maybe the hotel offers this as well? I don’t know, they didn’t tell us. The jinshanling Great Wall is beautiful, you can reach it by foot in about 1h. In short, it was okay. But really too expensive for what you get."

"This guesthouse is excellent. You can see the Great Wall right from your window, and the room and bedding are all great. It's very close to the ticket office, making it convenient for catching the sunrise and sunset! The service is also wonderful, and the food tastes good; the pancakes for breakfast are especially delicious! Highly recommended! Also, I strongly recommend Jinshanling Great Wall – it's beautiful and not crowded! And of course, if you're coming to Jinshanling Great Wall, you must stay at Wanping Guesthouse!"

"Facilities: Just opened, the facilities are all new and comprehensive. The laundry room and restaurant are excellent, and the small shop has a great selection of affordable food. The only minor point is that you have to go to their other complex to charge your car, but it's very close. Cleanliness: As it's newly opened, the cleanliness is definitely top-notch. The restaurant's hygiene is also very good. Environment: It's large and beautiful, with great air quality. There's a football field and a baseball field. Service: The front desk staff, both male and female, are very friendly and amiable. Their attitude is excellent, and they try their best to meet guests' needs."
