Best Luang Prabang Spa Hotels

Environment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list. Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip. Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles. Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.

The front desk is quite enthusiastic, Helped us send our luggage to the room, and gave a detailed introduction to the room, This is the first unpleasant experience in this hotel. Since his SPA is very famous in Luang Prabang, I booked a package with SPA when booking, When checking in, the front desk did not ask if an appointment was required. Then I remembered to make an appointment with the front desk, I was told that the appointment was over for the day, Because we will leave Luang Prabang at noon the next day, So I made an appointment until 9 o'clock in the morning the next day, In the end, he came to us that night and told us, It was full the next morning, Can only choose noon, So we don't have time to do this project, The front desk said that his authority was powerless, We can communicate with the manager the next day. We raised this issue with the manager when we checked out the next day (turns out the lady was the manager yesterday), She offered to give us a bottle of red wine, I feel that she is really obsessed with red wine, Although his family's wine selection is not bad, But this treatment is not satisfactory. We said we don't need this bottle of red wine, And we are two rooms, She also offered to take us to the train station as compensation. Due to time constraints, I don't want to be too entangled, can only agree. Before she left, she asked me for a photo of yesterday in the wine storage room, It turned out to be waiting here. When having breakfast in the morning, We are an unsolicited menu, After we sat down, two white men came to the next table, The same waiter delivered the menu enthusiastically, And kindly asked them how their day was, That flattering look made me feel a little sick. The female manager was also in the restaurant at the time, When the food is served, the whole face is expressionless, The sound of placing the plates is very loud. This should not be the quality of a hotel manager. In short, This hotel licks white very badly, I saw that many domestic residents had similar experiences in his home, Send it out to let everyone avoid the pit, His price and service are very mismatched, There are a lot of good hotels in Luang Prabang, There is really no need to spend money at his house to find happiness.

I booked into this resort upon a recommendation and wow! I extended my stay more than once and ended up staying for 1 week. I stayed in a deluxe room which was above the restaurant and woke up to the most amazing view of greenery and the river beyond every morning! The staff here are so friendly and kind, nothing is too much for them, they go above and beyond to make you happy. I had a motorbike but they also rent bicycles so it’s very easy to get to the centre. It also makes a very nice walk when the weather’s not too hot. Highly recommend staying here. I will come back

It was our first time in Luang Prabang, and we picked Kiridara based on other reviews. Rest-assured, it was a smart choice. The location was great. While not in the center, there is a market super close and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. For the rest the hotel offers a free shuttle which is on call until about 9 pm, and takes you more or less everywhere you need to go. The rooms were clean, nicely layed out and offered everything you need. If something was wrong, it was fixed quickly. The pool was refreshing and offered a great view. The drinks from then pool bar were delicious. The highlight was the breakfast. There was a small, but nice buffet plus a menu. The a la carte menu was the biggest plus. You could pick up to four dishes, each from one category, like eggs, hearty or sweet. Be sure to eat yourself through all the options, while you stay - it‘s worth it! All in all a great stay, and we will come back to Kiridara for sure for our next stay.

This is a hotel where price and service are inconsistent. The room is not big, the service is not good, the breakfast is average and the price is very expensive. Say it first 1. There was a lady who greeted every guest at breakfast, which made people feel very warm. 2. The hotel was not cleaned when we returned to the room at noon, so we reminded the waiter to clean it in time. When we returned to the room at two o'clock in the afternoon, it was still not cleaned. At this time, a very nice lady LING asked the waiter to clean up in time, which solved our problem. not good 1. When I first checked in, I saw a waiter breaking a glass cup in the corridor. The sound was so loud that I was shocked.  2. The waiters are very lazy. Every time I see them, they are talking in twos and threes and do not clean up in time. And point your butt towards the guest.  3. The bath towel was not brought in time. It was brought after two days of urging.

Very restful, relaxing hotel in a good position for exploring the nearby night market. Easy to organise transport locally but the hotel gave us a free ride to the night market when I wanted to go. ( I have difficulty walking too far) Our room was peaceful, spacious and clean. The pool area is good and offers bean bags or chairs to sit in. The spa is readily available. The breakfast is served in an outdoor, covered long room and the dining area is always busy with a good choice of dishes. The unusual aspect of this residence is the number of lotus ponds and abundance of greenery everywhere which are a UNESCO listed feature. I wouldn’t necessarily choose this hotel for young children but for older children or couples it would be hard to beat for character and history.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the Sofitel team in Luang Prabang for creating such a warm, welcoming and accommodating stay. Across all departments, the staff went above and beyond, and collectively set a new standard for Service. Most notably Vard, Leng, Mr. Kao and Youth at the front desk, Mr. Umni, Keili and Souk from F&B and Mr. Anshul Sharma, the hotel Manager, who has done an exceptional job at leading the team and making the Sofitel, Luang Prabang a must stay haven in South East Asia. The hotel grounds were picturesque and serene, the rooms tastefully designed with ample space to luxuriate, the food (particularly breakfast) at Governors Grill delicious and fresh. But above all, the service was unlike any hotel I have stayed. From remembering the small details of our personal preferences, to recommending the best activities and experiences, to assisting with a medical emergency - my partner and I felt truly cared for. I am deeply grateful for such a beautiful and memorable Christmas and New Year, and we already look forward to our return!

The hotel room facilities and scenery are very good, and the service is also very good. Since the hotel reservation cannot be canceled, I bought cancellation insurance. Huatai Insurance is a scam company and it is useless. I remind everyone not to be fooled. Stay away from Huatai Insurance.

I could not have been more happy with my stay. A peaceful oasis located a very short distance from the night market and other amazing attractions. The breakfasts were fantastic. Fresh fruits, juices, Lao coffee, vegatables, eggs, breads (and more) every morning. The staff made me feel very comfortable. Always greeting me with respect and huge smiles. After a long day of teaching English I could not wait to get “home” and unwind by the pool with a good book. Thank you again to the entire staff for a memorable stay. Ajan Matt

A true museum of a hotel! It combines comfort with refinement. Big, light and airy bedrooms tastefully appointed, charming and helpful staff. Its location offers good views on the Nam Khan river and its annex on the opposite bank is equally charming. Owner Ivan Scholte produces some wonderful wines and tips for off-track excursions. It is close to temples, shops and other entertainment without compromising its quiet and peaceful atmosphere. My family and I spent an idyllic week there. Not to be missed: Laos Buffalo Dairy and the Living Land ricefield trip (where you get to go through all the stages of cultivating rice, down to eating it!)
