I stayed here for one night as part of a larger Lao road trip. Having been constructed in 1937 during the French Colonial period, the building (house number 323), is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. Beautiful local hardwood is used throughout the structure and adds a level of charm that many other accommodations lack. The room was clean, large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hot water, refrigerator, air-conditioning, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, linen, pillows, towels, etc. were in good condition. I paid $27 USD per night on hotels.com, apparently, the walk-in rate for this same period is $26 USD per night. This is a fair price for this style of budget accommodation. I would stay here again for sure.

We spent 3 nights in this small hotel. The rooms are correct, clean but very spacious. The staff is very nice and despite the language barrier, try to satisfy us as best as possible. We have to order the evening if we want eggs. Otherwise we are a group of 12 people, the only on the hotel, and a certain lack of organisation despite the good will of the hotel. I choose this hotel due to the decoration style and location also now rate is good. Hotel is small but convenient, location is great ; nearby by the river and tourist attractions. Staff service is excellent, all are very helpful with smile. Room is good, clean but wall and ceiling need to touch up. Breakfast is not variety, I prefer to have local foods outside the hotel.

Regardless of the front desk or the restaurant, all the staff are very welcoming. The room is very clean, and there is no dust on the countertops, tables or even the floor.

The surroundings of the hotel are pleasant, quiet and convenient. Secondly, Villa Monsone is a wonderful building in itself. Every detail shows the care and taste of the hotel management team. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's swimming pool and terrace, which provided a peaceful and relaxing environment to enjoy the sun and views. The service is also impeccable. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the staff gave me warm and thoughtful care. They were always ready to help and were always there to make sure my needs were met. Their professional quality and friendly attitude made me feel at home.

Location is the best, even near night market, but it was not noisy, I can fall asleep peacefully. Also there is good reception staff. They tried to do the best support for my request. With their support, I could enjoy my Luang Phabang trip. Thank you Sack!!

On the day we arrived, the boss told us that he had a washing machine, free laundry, a drying platform to dry clothes, and a kitchen for cooking. The boss is Chinese, so communication is very convenient for us who are not good at foreign languages. The exchange rate at his house is higher than exchanging money at the checkpoint or on the street. He also helped us rent a car to Xiguan Waterfall and the high-speed rail station. Try to help us save money on car rental. When we go to Xiguan Haobu, we rent a business car. The car can accommodate 7 guests. One car costs 70W kip. The boss helped us make an appointment for 6 people, which costs 12W per person. We also went to Dazhou on the way. I fed the elephants in the Elephant Garden, and went to the internet-famous Rice Field Coffee on the way back from Xiguan Waterfall. The location of his house is great. It's 1 to 2 minutes' walk from the river and 3 minutes' walk to participate in almsgiving. Get on a 40,000 kip minibus from the station, and the driver will drop you off at the roadside in front of his house. This hotel is fabulous. The staff are friendly and happy to help. The facilities are great and it’s generally quite around the site. The rooms are spacious and bed very comfortable. The shuttle to downtown is very handy. Just one thing, I was woke by a gong at around 3:30am every morning.

We have just spent 4 fantastic nights at Liberty Place. The owners are so so lovely and friendly, they can’t do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and spacious. We had our breakfast on the balcony outside which was nicely set out and decorated. The location is great right in the centre of Luang Prabang, near to the night markets and not far from the Mekong River. We did not use the bicycles however they are free to use and we used their laundry service which was done very quickly. They helped us with a situation one of our friends were in and helped book a tuk tuk when they were lost near the waterfalls without any transport. They went above and beyond to help get our friends back to their hostel when they had no way of getting back! We booked our train tickets to Vang Vieng through the guesthouse. Great price and extremely helpful. There were also other tickets, tours and trips that could also be booked as well. We would highly recommend Liberty Place for anyone travelling to Luang Prabang and we would certainly stay again.

If you stay for 2 nights, the hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from the old city, which is always available. There is a large supermarket 200 meters away from the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping. There are many geckos on the hotel porch, and geckos eat mosquitoes, so the mosquitoes in this hotel are not bad. The rice noodles for breakfast are delicious😋The horn butter homemade jam is delicious😋The only drawback is that the air conditioner is too loud. I later switched to Softile, but there were a lot of mosquitoes, and dead mosquitoes could be seen on the sheets; and Softile’s free bus runs at a fixed time every day, and the place is very quiet, but you can’t get a tutu bus when you go out. In comparison, I prefer Suhada Hotel, which is small and spacious. Exquisite and convenient for travel; when you are done shopping, call the front desk and ask the driver to pick you up; you can also hire a tutu car at the door of the hotel.
