The exchange rate at his house is higher than exchanging money at the checkpoint or on the street. He also helped us rent a car to Xiguan Waterfall and the high-speed rail station. Try to help us save money on car rental. When we go to Xiguan Haobu, we rent a business car. The car can accommodate 7 guests. One car costs 70W kip. The boss helped us make an appointment for 6 people, which costs 12W per person. We also went to Dazhou on the way. I fed the elephants in the Elephant Garden, and went to the internet-famous Rice Field Coffee on the way back from Xiguan Waterfall. The location of his house is great. It's 1 to 2 minutes' walk from the river and 3 minutes' walk to participate in almsgiving. Get on a 40,000 kip minibus from the station, and the driver will drop you off at the roadside in front of his house. The staff are so lovely here. Very accommodating and always have a smile on their face. The room was very spacious which was a god send for us as we had been travelling for a few weeks in Vietnam beforehand, and some of the rooms we stayed in were quite small in comparison. They provided amenities and a stocked mini bar. The rooms are located with a few metres of the night market, and the morning market starts just outside the front gates of the accommodation. The people there were so quiet that you couldn’t hear what was happening outside of your room or on the street. We did have a bit of a giggle at the sleeping arrangements, as the bed was two pushed together, but this didn’t bother us. The door we had was a bit tricky as it was wood and seemed to get stuck… quite possibly due to humidity.. but a bit of elbow grease doesn’t hurt. Breakfast was great with fruit served along with your choice of meal. I opted for the noodle soup one morning and the second morning eggs. Very tasty. The meals were very generous. They even kindly packed us takeaway breakfast as we had a morning flight to catch to our next destination.

I choose this hotel due to the decoration style and location also now rate is good. Hotel is small but convenient, location is great ; nearby by the river and tourist attractions. Staff service is excellent, all are very helpful with smile. Room is good, clean but wall and ceiling need to touch up. Breakfast is not variety, I prefer to have local foods outside the hotel.

It was our first time in Luang Prabang, and we picked Kiridara based on other reviews. Rest-assured, it was a smart choice. The location was great. While not in the center, there is a market super close and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. For the rest the hotel offers a free shuttle which is on call until about 9 pm, and takes you more or less everywhere you need to go. The rooms were clean, nicely layed out and offered everything you need. If something was wrong, it was fixed quickly. The pool was refreshing and offered a great view. The drinks from then pool bar were delicious. The highlight was the breakfast. There was a small, but nice buffet plus a menu. The a la carte menu was the biggest plus. You could pick up to four dishes, each from one category, like eggs, hearty or sweet. Be sure to eat yourself through all the options, while you stay - it‘s worth it! All in all a great stay, and we will come back to Kiridara for sure for our next stay.

There is also a Miniso nearby, but it doesn't have many items. I bought sunscreen and a band next to the Miniso pharmacy. Currency cannot be exchanged at the hotel. The room is not that clean by Korean standards. Some complaints are covered up by the kindness of the staff.^^ It seems like a lot of European travelers stay here. Overall, I am satisfied with the price.

I stayed here for one night as part of a larger Lao road trip. Having been constructed in 1937 during the French Colonial period, the building (house number 323), is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. Beautiful local hardwood is used throughout the structure and adds a level of charm that many other accommodations lack. The room was clean, large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hot water, refrigerator, air-conditioning, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, linen, pillows, towels, etc. were in good condition. I paid $27 USD per night on hotels.com, apparently, the walk-in rate for this same period is $26 USD per night. This is a fair price for this style of budget accommodation. I would stay here again for sure.
