The location is not bad, close to Universal Studios, in order to go to Universal Studios the next day, so the hotel is very general, but there is a free breakfast in the morning (previously it said there is no breakfast), but breakfast Quite simple, only bread, you can also make waffles

It's pretty good, but I don't understand the language well. I still need to learn more English words in the future.

We live about ten blocks from the hotel. We stayed there when our power went out during the recent terrible heat wave. As you've heard from other reviews, the hotel is sleek and modern. It's like a Hollywood hotel plunked down in the middle of the Valley. More about that later. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The location is unexpectedly, subtly kind of great. It's a quick jump to the 101 freeway and anywhere you want to go in LA. But it's also got Hugo's Restaurant, beloved by many in LA, right across the street. Across the street from Hugo's is a futuristic Whole Foods, one of only two in the US where you can check out on your phone, without waiting in line (friendly people will show you how to do this). A few doors down from THAT is Gino's East Pizza, authentic deep-dish Chicago pizza and the only Gino's location in LA. Maybe the only one outside of Chicago itself. So all kinds of great food is a few steps from the hotel. This particular corner, Coldwater and Riverside, is getting hip and the Hotel Mariposa is the newest thing on the scene. Here's a couple of local tips: park on the street and save the $20 parking fee. Parking on Riverside is usually pretty easy. One morning we had to go to another block, but parking along Riverside freed up just after that. No way would we pay $20 to park in our neighborhood. They first gave us a room overlooking the 101 Freeway, which we didn't care for b/c it's right there. If you're out of town it might be a very LA thing to be looking out on our famous freeway, if that suits you. Anyway they were very understanding about moving us to another room. There is an outdoor seating area which again reminded me of Hollywood, but in miniature. The pool is tiny but the gym is new and terrific. If I couldn't be in my own home in LA, my second choice would be the Hotel Mariposa. Go there before everyone discovers it and ruins it.

Pretty good, very close to Universal Studios, eating is convenient, front desk service is very good. The key is parking is free, just near the high speed, where to go is very close, and there is a Sichuan restaurant nearby is very good. Public comment can be found

We chose the Lexen for ease of getting to Universal - the location was great and only about 7 mins from the park. The room was really good size and clean with really nice decor. Bathroom was huge compared to others we have stayed in. Staff really nice and friendly and helpful - kept our luggage for us when we had a late flight. Location was good for restaurants in the evening and round the corner from the North Hollywood Diner (totally recommend for breakfast). There were a couple of back streets that had homeless around at night which was a wee bit daunting but actually they didn't cause any disturbance to us or approach or anything (no criticism of the hotel at all here, just an observation for other travellers) - and the main streets around the hotel were fine though and we never felt unsafe around the area.

In Los Angeles, this level of hotel is very affordable at this price.

Customer service OnPoint checked in, was awesome well sat at the bar ordered the flatbread pizza some drinks tasty to say the least great job great stay great room pool could use a little updating still nice the guy that checked me in. Don’t want to mess up his name, but was nothing less than impressive to say the least, will definitely stay there again. Shuttle ride to the park and back was well received.
