We had a fantastic experience at this resort, everything is top notch! The golf course is in perfect shape and great scenery through the mountains and on the coast. The food was great, some of the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive. Don’t miss Danzante restaurant (costs a little extra but totally worth it)… Shout-out to Emmanuel our waiter there two different nights, he was phenomenal. Another shout-out to Joshua at Casa Mia… had breakfast there most mornings and he was awesome. There are plenty of excursion options… we did a boat tour with Daniel and had a great time… The snorkeling they take you to is incredible. Spa services were great too. The resort is pretty remote, we didn’t make it into town, but for a 5 day trip it was perfect and we had everything we needed at the resort. If you’re looking for a great resort off the beaten path, and especially if you like to golf, this is a must!

The resort, golf course (amazing), staff are amazing. However if you are coming to swim in a pool with the family, go somewhere else. It is falling apart. So much so, when I spoke to my business partner, his comment without me saying a word was the exact same criticism. I am an elite member and would not return with the family until this is repaired.

Sexual assault took place by employee of this facility while getting a massage. Their fix to the problem was putting staff through training what not to do. Worker still has his job at this location. Don’t take your love ones to this place. Do your research. You’ll see Villa Group has had similar issues at other locations. No justice for the victims.

Villa del Palmar never disappoints. I was there for 8 days from October 6th-14th. and I had the most relaxing and eventful time I have had in a while. Everything was perfect, the staff was super accommodating and the facility was spotless. I have been a VPA member for 14 years and I moved all my points from Cabo San Lucas to Loreto. It's just perfect. If you are thinking of traveling there you will have no regrets. Keep in mind though, they are refinishing the rock facade on some of the buildings, so there is some construction going on, but I found it to be a minimal disruption. It's nice to see they are putting out maintenance money to work!

This is our first time to Loreto, we’ve been here 12 days and every one of the staff, tour guides, housekeepers, front desk and restaurant managers, etc strive to provide excellent service. Everyone has been outstanding! They greet you every morning with a smile, deliver you a bucket of ice waters at the pool and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. A few shout outs for exceptional service since we arrived, Roberto at the pool, wants to satisfy and will do whatever he can to make you smile; need a towel, no problem, need a drink when the pool bar closes, no problem, need a lime, here’s three!! Jose at the beach bar, served us with a smile in the hot sun whenever we were there, remembered our names and made us feel very welcomed and well taken care of. Finally, Dylan who delivers food all day long at all the pools with a smile! What a very hard worker, we watched him run back and forth between the kitchen and pools with platters of food everyday. He’d actually run back to the kitchen for his next order. He’s working on his English and aspires to be a waiter one day. I hope we see him on our next visit serving us drinks around the pool and smiling all day!! Thank you all for an amazing experience!!

Overall beautiful and private resort! All inclusive was completely worth it — we mostly ate and drank by the pool all day for the week that we were here. The one activity that we did do was a blast ; we went out on the boat with Jose and went snorkeling. His enthusiasm and good vibes were infectious and we really enjoyed our time with him on the boat! Also a huge shout out to Rodolfo at Casa Mia — amazing service, fantastic drinks, just overall a killer bartender that we really loved :) He remembered our drink orders and would whip them up for us before we even had to ask. Loved the whole experience, I would love to come back to this beautiful island!!

Manu Lopez was the best waiter!!! He serves at Casa Mia. He is fun, energetic and interactive! He makes your dining experience awesome! This was our second trip that we had him as our waiter! We look forward to his awesome service on our next trip!

DO NOT BUY THEY LIE We have been members of the Villa Group for years transferring from Cabo to Loreto when they started the build. And been to their other resorts. We were well aware of the constant annual up sale but never has it been SO BAD. They have changed their planning so radically that we no longer can tolerate their incessant scheming. When you can’t get through one year without having to invest ~$60k to maintain your position then run away. This place is not worth it. Just run away. The people outside the sales team are amazing, but over the years we have seen the management run off great people who are still in the area. We can spend way less money to enjoy a better vacation without the sharks circling the bank account for some lying contract they won’t even honor.

Jose Angel was a fun and informative guide. I learned about the biodiversity of the area, the history of the islands as well as general geography and the town of Loreto. He should be a professor. The gear was good and the private beach on Danzante Island was unforgettable.
